The mathematics teacher teach us about 'Algebraic process(1).and after explaining he gave us classwork to do in less than ten minutes.He collected it when the time was up,and he mark it in class, and am the only one that score 3/3 in the classroom,while others score less than 3,the teacher ask me to stand up, and I did as he instructed, he gave me the marker to go solve on the board,at first I was nervous but I told myself to calm down, I went to the board and solve the questions, after I was done solving the questions, Mr lawal clapped for me and the students also did the same,I was very happy.The teacher leaves the class since it was break,I went back to my seat and brought out my lunch to eat,after I was done eating I went to the library.I was checking what book to read when I realised someone is staring at me,I turned back just to see that Heathecliff is the one staring at me,our eyes locked and my heart beat fast as if it want to come out of it rib cage,he quickly look away when he realised that I already knew he was starting at me.
I went to class after break was over,government teacher came in,Miss Abiola,she ask the class what is government,I raised up my hand and all head turns to me,she ask me to go ahead and answer the questions, she was amazed by my definition,you see that is what we have been talking to you guys by reading ahead your teacher,the bell rang for closing, so the end the lesson for that day.
On my way out of the school compound and my former friends came to me and say,answering questions in class doesn't mean anything, and I should not feel proud of myself,I was out of the school compound when I came across Isabell, she asked me where I was living and I told her my area,she said that also her area,she told me she want to give a lift, so I hopped into the car,Heathecliff was sitting at the front car while Isabell and I sat at the back,she told me they just came to this town last week,I ask her whether she enjoys her new school, and she said yes.
