Chapter 38 - Chapter 38:The Birth of the Chelisthenics God Core

The morning sun cast a golden glow over the courtyard as Subham began his daily training routine. He had grown accustomed to the grueling regimen set by Master Vidur, and despite the heavy weights strapped to his body, he moved with a determination that spoke of his relentless drive to improve.

Ankan and Saheli were also training nearby, pushing through their own exercises under Vidur's watchful eye. Today felt different, though. As Subham pushed through his calisthenics exercises, he sensed an unusual warmth spreading through his chest. The sensation grew stronger with each movement, as if something deep within him was awakening. Sweat poured down his face, but he ignored it, focusing instead on the strange energy building inside him.

Suddenly, a powerful force surged through his body, making him stagger. He clutched his chest, feeling the warmth coalesce into a single point. It was as if a core was forming within him, pulsing with an intensity he had never experienced before. The sky above darkened momentarily, and a gust of wind swirled around him, carrying leaves and dust in a celebratory dance.

"What's happening?" Subham muttered, eyes wide with confusion and awe.

From across the courtyard, Master Vidur and Sam noticed the commotion. They exchanged a knowing glance before hurrying over to where Subham stood, now surrounded by a shimmering aura of light. Ankan and Saheli, sensing something extraordinary, stopped their training and watched in amazement.

"Subham!" Vidur called out, his voice calm but filled with urgency. "Stay focused. You're experiencing a significant transformation."

Subham nodded, gritting his teeth as the energy within him continued to grow. The core solidified, its presence undeniable, and the sky seemed to rejoice, the dark clouds parting to reveal a brilliant sunbeam that bathed him in light.

"What the heck is going on?" Ankan whispered to Saheli, his eyes wide with astonishment.

"I don't know, but it looks intense," Saheli replied, her voice filled with awe.

After what felt like an eternity, the sensation subsided, leaving Subham standing in the courtyard, panting but feeling an overwhelming sense of power. He looked up to see Vidur, Sam, Ankan, and Saheli watching him with a mix of pride and curiosity.

"What... what just happened?" Subham asked, still trying to catch his breath.

Vidur stepped forward, placing a reassuring hand on Subham's shoulder. "You've formed your Chelisthenics God Core, Subham. This is a rare and powerful advancement. It means your body has reached a level of mastery that allows you to continuously absorb natural energy from your surroundings."

Subham's eyes widened in astonishment. "So, I don't have to train as hard anymore?"

Vidur chuckled. "Not exactly. Your strength will grow passively now, yes, but that doesn't mean you can slack off. The core will help you absorb natural energy, but you still need to train to refine and harness that power effectively."

Sam clapped Subham on the back, grinning. "Looks like you're one step closer to becoming a real powerhouse. And hey, maybe now you won't be constantly complaining about being hungry."

Ankan laughed. "Yeah, Subham. Maybe now you'll finally stop raiding the fridge at midnight."

Subham laughed too, the tension of the moment dissipating. "Yeah, about that. Does this mean I won't need to eat anymore?"

Vidur nodded. "With the core, your body can survive without food for extended periods. However, eating still provides essential nutrients and energy. Think of it as a supplement to your natural absorption."

Saheli smiled, her eyes twinkling with amusement. "Guess we'll save a lot on groceries now."

Subham took a deep breath, feeling the newfound strength coursing through him. He could sense the energy around him, a subtle but constant flow that seemed to invigorate his very being.

"This is incredible," he said, flexing his muscles experimentally. "I feel like I could take on anything."

"Don't get too cocky," Vidur warned, though his eyes twinkled with amusement. "This is just the beginning. You have a lot more to learn and many challenges ahead."

Sam nodded in agreement. "Yeah, and besides, you've still got a long way to go before you can catch up to me."

Subham rolled his eyes, a grin spreading across his face. "Keep dreaming, Sam. I'll surpass you in no time."

As they laughed and exchanged friendly banter, the sky returned to its usual calm state, the brief celebration of Subham's advancement fading into memory. With the Chelisthenics God Core now a part of him, Subham felt more prepared than ever for the mission ahead.

Later that day, as the trio gathered in the study to discuss their next steps, Vidur addressed them with a serious tone. "Subham, your advancement is a significant milestone, but remember that power without control can be dangerous. Continue your training diligently and prepare for the journey to Africa."

Subham nodded, feeling the weight of responsibility settle on his shoulders. "I understand, Master. I'll do my best."

Vidur smiled. "I have no doubt that you will. Now, let's focus on planning the details of your mission. You have much to accomplish, and the stakes are higher than ever."

With renewed determination, Subham joined Saheli and Ankan in their preparations, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead with the strength and resolve of a true warrior.
