“All hail Queen Ariana!”
I looked at my people with pride filled eyes, reminiscing on how far we had come.
It wasn’t hard for just me but every single member of the kingdom and finally, all of those tough days was over for them.
I had arrived to help them and they all sang my praises and cheered me as their savior.
It was going to take a while to undue all of the damages Jasper had done but I was ready to go through it all.
And with the help and approval of the people, appointing me as the queen was the first thing to do.
I turned to give Damon a quick glance, my smile immediately widening.
He was by my side and had been there right from the beginning of the coronation, his mere presence an unspoken promise of love and support.
He had reassured me over and over he wasn’t going anywhere.
He was more than ready to promise me forever.
And though it still felt a bit out of reach, I allowed myself believe him momentarily.
