Chapter 101 - Kind Gesture

I blinked the sleep from my eyes. I rolled over to feel a wincing pain radiate from my bottom.

"Are you okay?" Eric asked on my right.

I glanced over to see him lying there beside me. I felt my cheeks blush.

"Do you need anything?" Reign said to me left.

I was shocked to see him lying on the opposite side of me. I covered my face in embarrassment. I forgot that I passed out from being physically exhausted from what the three of us had done last night.

 "I'm starving," I admitted.

"Do you want to order room service?" Reign offered.

"No, Zeus doesn't need to wonder or question why you both are in here with me so early in the morning. Is there a restaurant around here?" I asked.

"Yes, there should be one in the lobby," Eric answered.

Both Eric and Reign got dressed as I slowly walked over to my suitcase. I had never felt such a soreness in my body before. Then again, I've never had anal sex before. Eric was my first. Zeus wasn't going to be happy about that. I doubt he'd know, though; it's not like losing your virginity. After what felt like an eternity, we all left my room.

"I think I should go alone," I suggested, "You both need to change."

"Are you sure?" Reign kindly asked.

I looked at the two men standing before me and nodded in reply. They both pecked me on either side of my cheeks before disappearing behind the doors. I slowly walked to the bar and winced as the pain shot through me while sitting down on one of the empty stools. This pain hurt more than I can express.

"What can I get you?" the bartender asked.

"A shot of the best vodka you have and whatever appetizers you feel would be good with that," I shrugged.

 "Right away," he nodded.

"Please make it a double," I clarified.

After hours of back-to-back shots and three beautiful trays of delicious food, Zeus appeared beside me.

"Here you are," Zeus smiled while taking my new shot of vodka.

"Here I am," I sarcastically replied.

"I spoke to Reign and Eric, but they said you didn't answer the door," he said.

 'Really?" I sighed, "I needed a drink."

 "Clearly," he smirked.

"Why are we staying in this hotel when I could be at my house?" I bluntly said.

The vodka helped ease my physical pain, and now I had no filter. I didn't care if I hurt his feelings. His precious daughter still haunted my dreams at night. Reminding me of what I had lost and what I had to endure.

"To be honest, I wanted to wait until the plans were finalized, but here," Zeus presented a stack of papers.

I scoffed, tossing them on the bar top. "Blueprints? A deed? To what?"

"To your bar," he answered.

I choked on my shot, accidentally spitting it on the paperwork. He laughed and wiped the papers clean before damage could be done. I gasped for air as the vodka burned in the back of my throat.

"Why would you do that for me?" I questioned.

"Isn't it what you always wanted?" he asked, "You're to be my wife soon. You should have everything you want."

 "What's the catch?" I sneered.

"No catch," he waived his arms in defense.

"How am I supposed to believe that?" I asked.

"I was thinking we could move here together—a fresh start. Eve, Dimitri, and Reign can have my home in the country. I'll check on it for business occasionally, but I felt it would be a nice change of scenery for the two of us," he explained.

"What makes you think this is something I wanted?" I asked.

"Ivy," Zeus turned me to face him, his look serious, "I told you I loved you and would show it."

"But your life is at your castle," I reminded.

"No," he decided, "My business is there, my family, but I can start a new beginning somewhere else. Just imagine. We could build an empire of bars no one could dare come up against or touch."

He caringly took my hand, "We'll be unstoppable together."

This makes things much more difficult.

That dark, slithering voice echoed in the back of my mind.

 "Okay," I whispered.

Zeus grabbed my face and kissed me tenderly on the lip.

Fuck!
