I opened my eyes to the sight of sunrays shining through the gap of the curtains. Sitting up, I felt a soreness I'd never experienced before. I winced from the pain as I threw my legs over the side of the bed. Wait a minute. This isn't my house! I ran to the door in a panic and tried to turn the knob.
"It's locked?" I gasped, "Hello!"
I began to pound my palm on the door, "Let me out! What the fuck is going on?!"
I continued to pound my hand against the door until it went numb. I grabbed the wooden desk chair and threw it at the door to no avail. What the Hell was this wood made of?! I began to pace from side to side. What the Hell was going on? Why am I locked in my room? Where's my phone? My purse? How the Hell did I get here? The sound of the door unlocking stopped my train of thought. I turned my head as the door began to open. I seized a piece of wood from the broken chair and charged at the door's entrance. I swung, but Zeus blocked it with ease. He ripped the wood from my hands. Anger overtook me, and I threw myself at him. I'm not sure why I thought I could fight him, which he showed by throwing me back onto the bed and pinning me down.
"Get off of me!" I screamed.
"Calm down!" he hollered back at me.
"Get off of me!!" I cried,
He backed away, his hands in surrender, "I'm not going to hurt you!"
"Why am I here?! Why am I locked in this room?!" I exclaimed, "Who the Hell do you think you are bringing me here and doing this to me?!"
"Calm down," he warranted, "Stressing can't be good for you or the baby."
Fear struck through me, "What the fuck did you just say?! How do you know that I'm pregnant?!"
He coolly ran his fingers through his touseled hair. "I've known Rick for a long time. You think he wouldn't tell me about you being pregnant with my child?"
"I don't know whose baby it is! That's beside the point! You invaded my privacy! This was none of your business!" I hollered.
"You possibly being pregnant with my child is none of my business?" he questioned.
"Are you fucking kidding me right now?!" I shouted.
"Calm down!" he repeated.
"I'm not having the baby!" I screamed.
Zeus shook his head, "Yes, you are."
My once raging hot blood became ice cold, "What the fuck did you just say to me."
"You're having the baby. That's why I brought you here," he clarified.
"You're insane," I gasped.
"No, you'll stay here until you give birth to my child, and then you can go," he frivolously said.
"There's no way I'm doing that!" I ran for the door, but Zeus intercepted me.
"No! Stop it!" I cried as he threw me onto the bed once more.
"You're staying here, Ivy-"
I slapped Zeus across the face as hard as I could. His head turned to the side as blood trickled from between his lips.
"Maybe I wasn't clear," he growled, forcing his lips on mine.
The taste of copper filled my mouth as I turned away. He released me as the door opened. It was Dr. Richmond. Zeus stood up as I remained sitting on the bed.
"It's good to see you're here," Dr. Richmond said while handing me the paper. Since you're about fifteen weeks along, we can determine the baby's sex and the father whenever you'd like.
"I'm not having the baby," I stated.
Dr. Richmond looked back at Zeus and handed him a piece of paper, "She's cute. Maybe when she's done incubating, I can have a taste.'
What the fuck was going on here?
"I don't see why not; I'll be done with her by then," Zeus commented while shaking Rick's hand.
"See you, beautiful," Rick sleazily smirked at me.
"Fuck you!" I sneered as he exited my room.
Zeus looked back at me.
"Don't fucking touch me," I warned.
"Why do you need to fight me on this? You heard Rick, we can verify who the father is; once it's decreed, you'll give birth in five months, then return to your life."
My eyes widened in horror. This wasn't happening.
"What the fuck do you think is going to happen? My friends will come looking for me-"
"And I suggest you don't do anything that might get them hurt," he interrupted.
Fear struck deep, tugging down within me, "W-what will you do to them?"
He walked over to me; I backed away in fear.
"I'm not going to hurt you," he promised, "so long as you do as you are told."
I trembled as he caressed my cheek.
"I knew you didn't care for me," I whimpered as a tear fell down my cheek, "It was all fake, wasn't it?"
He pulled his hand away with a look of hurt across his face. It looked like he wanted to say something but refrained from doing so. All he could do was hang his head and leave my room. The lock clicking into place made me fall to my knees and uncontrollably weep. What's going to happen to me?
