So it was friday night and me and my friends wanted to play a game at my house. " Ugh I dunno. My mom might say no." " So what. Yesterday I stole some sleeping pills. They last like 4 hours." All my friends started laughing. " Uh, guys, let's maybe not knock my mom out with some pills." They continued laughing like I said the funniest thing in the world. So it turns out that my mom isn't home and won't be until like 12. " I know." Said Jack. " Let's play a game called Red door, Yellow door." "Ooh, I think I heard of that game," added Allen. "It's a crazy paranormal game right, isn't it supposed to take you through the doors of your mind?" " Yeah, it's so totally cool." " Whataya say Jordan?" " Uh, I dunno. I like my mind the way it is." " Oh Jordan come on don't be a party pooper and ruin all the fun." " Oh I know, Jordan you will be the one to go into the doors of your mind." I know that when Allen doesn't say , "what do you say", he isn't giving me an option. I do not like this. " So, Allen, what are the rules of the game?" " So first you need the sleeper and the talker. Then all you have to do is sleep and go into the doors of your mind." " That's all?" " Yup Jor, that's all. No need to be a big baby about it." " So will you do it Jor?" " Nah, I'm good." Allen looked at me. I think I just made the biggest mistake ever. Even Jack shivered. "I'm sorry, what did you say Jordan?" His voice was so deep it could get the queen of England to bow down, well if she was still here that is. " Um, I said sure of course." " Oh yeah," He smiled, " I should have guessed so." I know more than anyone he wasn't being nice. They laid me on the floor, and Allen sat down with a pillow on his lap. I laid my head on top of his lap and then he started rubbing his hands over on the corners of my eyes. " RED DOOR YELLOW DOOR AND ANY OTHER COLORED DOOR. RED DOOR YELLOW DOOR AND ANY OTHER COLORED DOOR." Jack started " OOH" ing. " Jordan! " Jack cried. " Put your hands up so we know when you're in the world. Also put them back down when you start seeing doors and stuff. " " RED DOOR YELLOW DOOR AND ANY OTHER COLORED DOOR." Allen continued chanting. I started feeling sleepy and everything started to turn into circles. Then everything turned black. Afterwards, I seemed to wake up. But for some reason I wasn't waking up on Allens lap. I was in a hallway with a lot of doors. All of the doors seemed normal except for one bright red door all the way at the end of the hallway. Even though Allen has bright orange hair so red has always been his color I felt like red was my color and always have been. I walked right up to the bright red door and turned the beautiful clean golden knob. As the door started to open I heard a voice. " Do you see doors?" I fell back in shock. Who was that? Because I let go of the door It flung open revealing a brightly yellow colored room. In the middle of the room there was a white piece of paper. I got up and tiptoed over to the room. " BANG!" The Red door shut tightly behind me. I got up immediately and started to run for the door but it seemed as though it just wouldn't get any closer. But when I turned around the same white paper was still there. I picked it up. It was the rules and manual of the game. First there were things that you are not allowed to do no matter what. Well to be more specific, things you shouldn't do. I turned to the back of the paper. On the back there were the most important things that SHOULD happen. If you hear a voice guiding you and asking questions , that is the person you started this game with and you should listen to them because if you find it hard to wake up and need advice, they will be there to help you. Everything seemed normal about the paper and I was understanding the rules until I turned the page to read what I shouldn't do. Gosh, there were hundreds. If you ever walk into a room with a bunch of clocks not 2 like 10 you should get out of there immediately because clocks can trap you. Gosh these rules were sure specific. Did these things happen to people or something? I dropped the paper. I think I have read enough. I walk out of the yellow room and back down the long hallway of doors. I see a beautiful purple door. It immediately catches my attention. I open the door to see a huge field. It's night time and it's raining and thundering hard. I guess not all beautiful things are good. I want to see if it is really real so I walk another step in and I hear the door "SLAM"! I turn around with a jolt and I see no door. WAIT! (I SEE NO DOOR) I immediately start freaking out and looking around. No door, No door, No door! Then I hear that voice again. I'm getting sick of it. "What do you see?" " RAIN! GOD DANM*T! STOP ASKING! I SEE RAIN AND NO FREAKING DOOR!" No more voice. I'm irritated. I should have never played this game. Now I'm stuck in some freaking football field. I kick some grass and look up to see something. Or someone. Standing. Just. Right. Across. From. Me. I panic. I'm not supposed to see anyone. Right? I turn away and start running. I can't clearly see their face but I swear I can see a faintest evil smile. Just then I trip and I'm in a hallway with 2 doors, yellow and one red. Then I see the figure again, walking towards me, I turn to run again but a wall appears in front of me blocking my path. I look at the figure in fright. None of the rules that were supposed to keep me safe worded. What the hell is going on here? Suddenly he says, " Pick a door." "Huh?" I say, his dark, deep, raspy voice speaks again, "Pick a door, one of them you will wake, the other, is your fate." I Panic, WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! I WANT TO WAKE UP RIGHT NOW! ALLEN! JAYDEN! WAKE ME UP!" "Pick a door." He says again. "If you don't, they will eat your shins." I look behind him and there are a bunch of little yellow beady eyes, I scream. Iwalk up to the doors, On of them i will wake, I play his words in my head, and is my fate, I terrified, I don't know which to pick, I know that more than ever I want to wake up and hug my mom, I wish i never went against her rules, if i didnt none if this would not be happening, Is this my punishment, I turn the knob of the yellow door and there is a brick wall preventing me from entering. "What the hell is this?" I ask the man? He isn't there anymore. The beedy eyes creep closer. " AGRHHHH!" Those are the last words that will have ever left my mouth. Have you ever heard of the wandering boy with no legs, well he was based off of my story, I failed to choose the correct door, so wandering around in the parallel universe full of doors watching other victims die, unable to warn them, or leave this place, is my fate, Be careful when playing Paranormal games, In some of them, Not even the rules will protect you.
