Arthur flicked his hand, and the last of his [Mini-Suns] dissolved into nothingness, the glow fading from the street as if their previous battle had never happened. His shoulders felt heavy, but his mind was already sharpening, focused on the task ahead.
Ahead of them loomed the entrance to the dungeon—an enormous, jagged structure of black stone that jutted out from the earth like the skeleton of some long-dead beast. It stood out against the skyline of the ruined city, dark and imposing, casting an almost unnatural shadow across the streets. The architecture didn't belong here, not in this world.
Arthur couldn't shake the eerie feeling that crawled up his spine as they neared the entrance. The dungeon was silent. Too silent.
