Momo had been inches away from impaling Arthur with her spear when she suddenly noticed the ball of light forming near her stomach. The moment she realized what it was, her eyes widened in shock.
"What the—?"
BOOM!
To Momo, it must have felt like being hit by a speeding bus. The force of the light bomb knocked the wind out of her lungs as she was launched backward, her body hurtling through the air before crashing into the ground with a thunderous impact. A small dent formed where she landed, sending up clouds of dust and dirt. Arthur winced in sympathy, knowing that must've hurt like hell.
"Shit," Arthur muttered under his breath as the dust began to clear. "I hope I didn't overdo it."
