Arthur noticed the sound of battle behind him fading away. Curious, he turned around and found that the slimes had all but vanished. The chaotic battlefield of oozing, wriggling creatures had been replaced by a lone figure standing in the midst of the carnage. It was Lily, drenched from head to toe in the remains of the slimes she had rampaged through. Her face was flushed, her breathing heavy, but her eyes still held that dangerous spark.
"Woah, somebody's—" Arthur started, a teasing grin forming on his face.
"Not another word," Lily shot back before he could finish, dashing forward into the remaining horde of slimes without sparing him a glance.
