Ken saw how a part of the woods was on fire and he was worried about max and peter since they are against ryu and Jason.
He was in a mountain above the burning forest he the turned because he heard footsteps and it was Henry with a green Bo staff.
Since the numbers didn't match one of them had to end up in a one v one so he guessed that Henry was his opponent.
Henry: I won't hold back.
Ken took out his karambit and took a stance.
They two exorcists stood of from each other and Ken made the first move by throwing his weapon which Henry moved his head to dodge it.
Henry: bad move.
He rushed a Ken slamming his no staff in the ground but Ken disappeared in a blue flash.
The next second Henry was kicked in the back making him almost fall of the cliff.
He turned around and this time he saw Ken with two karambits in each hand.
Henry got up and took a stance again he figured the karambit has some sort of cloning ability like Peter.
This time they rushed at each trying to land a blow on each one another they countered and deflected there attacks but Henry saw an opening one Ken and he put his staff in a 8 ball position and struck Ken in the chest.
Ken was launched back but aside from the pain he felt his energy drained he looked at Henry and he saw that his staff was glowing blue.
He guessed that this weapon has the ability to steal energy which mean that he has to stay out of it range.
They once again rushed at each other but this time Ken had a plan.
He threw his karambit at Henry who dodged it and he was expecting him to teleport behind him but instead of that.
Ken slightly threw it in the air and when Henry swung his staff to hit him Ken swapped swapped places with his weapon and he was above him.
Henry was caught of guard and Ken kicked him in the face making him roll on the ground.
A karambit was in the air and Ken swapped places with it and he dove down towards Henry.
He rolled out of the way and Ken chased him but they once again clashed weapons.
Back with Sonia.
she had some injuries but she can still move.
Meanwhile not far was Terra who had less injuries than Sonia.
Terra: I'll admit your durability is better than I expected but my strength is still greater than yours.
She launched herself at Sonia and the two clashed clubs and the forest around them was suffering damage due to the power of the clash.
But Sonia was launch away and she crashed into a tree when she regained her bearings she had to duck her head because Terra swinging her bat and that destroyed the tree she crashed in.
She managed to get away but Terra was faster than her and with very little time she blocked with her arms and a massive impact sounded out and she was once again launched.
When she felt the ground she ran away grabbing her arm which was dislocated.
She thought that Terra was far away for now he looked at her arm and there was a massive bruise on it.
But the bruise aside she grabbed her shoulder and she pushed it reconnecting her arm.
She had to clench her teeth hard to not scream in pain.
She sat down on the tree and she thought back on something Monica said to her.
(Flashback)
Monica wanted to talk to Sonia to give her some advice to improve her capabilities in the field.
Monica: you see green energy users have unique role while your body is strengthen by the spirit of the oni you can be more than a tank in the battle field.
Sonia: so what can I do other than smash stuff?
Monica: well other than strengthening your body your green energy can also be used for healing purposes since you and I have the same type of energy I can teach you.
Sonia: I'm not sure if I want to be a doctor.
Monica: you don't have to be just learn and you can help your partners.
Sonia thought back to max being on the brink of death and that gave her chills.
Sonia: yeah please teach me.
(Flashback end)
She put her hand in her bruised arm which was causing more pain than her other injuries.
Since she was still learning spiritual energy control in the healing process during the fight she couldn't focus on her control but now that she had a moment to catch her breath she can focus clearly.
She turned the energy in her hand to healing energy and the bruise along with the other injures she had were fading away.
And when she was done her body felt better but she still felt sore and her energy depleted a lot.
But her moment of rest was cut short when she sensed a presence behind her and he duck a swing that broke half of the tree.
Terra: found ya! Mmm?
Terra saw how Sonia's body was healed but her energy level depleted she guessed that she healed herself.
Terra: looks like you healed yourself while I was looking for you.
Sonia: yeah and thanks for the moment of rest now I can kick your ass.
Terra just gave her a wild smile like gladiator enjoying the thrill of battle.
Terra: show me what you got.
With Bonnie and Micheal.
Bonnie and Micheal were in a pink bubble field Bonnie made sure that they can move properly in the cold forest and they haven't encountered the frost siblings yet.
Micheal: I don't like this it's way too quiet and they haven't showed themselves.
Bonnie: yeah this sketchy as all hell.
As they walked around they both noticed how it was starting to get foggy hindering their vision.
Bonnie: alright they are definitely trying something
Micheal: eyes up-
He didn't finish because a hand broke through the bubble and grabbed him and threw him in the foggy forest leaving Bonnie alone.
Bonnie: Micheal. Shit!
But like Micheal she was cut off when a lion of ice knocked her away breaking the solid bubble and exposing her to the cold fog.
And she saw that from the fog Bertha came out with ice animal constructs and on her hands was a whip.
Bethra: I'll admit you're pretty crafty but unfortunately your little getaway plan gave me and my brother time to prepare a little surprise for you two.
Bonnie was having trouble breathing due to the cold oxygen in her lungs and this is going to hinder her a lot.
With Micheal.
He hit a tree and when he looked up Noah was in front of him with hands in his pockets.
Noah: my little sister is going to deal with your friend now it's just you and me.
Micheal was having trouble breathing properly because of the cold air in his lungs he guessed that they siblings amplified the temperature in the air.
Micheal changed up his spiritual energy and he mix it in with his lightning element and dashed towards Noah.
But Noah made a shield of ice to block the attack and Micheal's kick made a dent but that's what Noah wanted because he saw his Chance he pushed the shield along with Micheal.
He crashed into 2 trees before ice shield shattered and he rolled on the snow covered ground.
Micheal tried to get back on his feet but he sensed something coming and he barely managed to turn his head to the side to dodge an ice arrow and that graced his face making have a small slash mark that was dripping blood but it quickly solidified into ice.
Noah came out with an ice bow in his hand.
Micheal: you could have killed me with that thing.
Noah: yeah I could have this is training and this is to make you are ready for anything so don't expect mercy.
Noah then changed his ice bow into two swords.
Micheal knew that lightning and ice didn't exactly match but unlike fire lightning had very little effect on ice so he is gonna have to play this smart.
He took out a taser and he shocked himself to absorb some electricity to amplify his power if he's going to fight against ice he's gonna have to go all out.
Meanwhile with Bonnie she was covered in iced up blood and she was hiding behind a tree trying to get her breathing under control.
But the ice lion came out of nowhere and tried to slash her.
She got out the way and she threw her bubbles at the lion she made the bubbles sticky and solid so it's gonna have problems taking those off.
While the lion was trying to get the bubbles off an ice rhino rush at her she jumped out of the way and she had an idea.
She was running towards the lion and slid under it and her plan work and rhino pierced the lion but the two ice constructs were stuck to each other.
Bonnie: looks like these things don't have brains which is good.
She heard a crack and the next second a stinging pain was on her back and it hurt so much that she fell on the ground putting her hand on her back to dull the pain.
She took out her gun and shot behind her but nothing happened another snap was heard this time it was on her knee and she lost her balance she shot at were it came from but like before nothing happened.
Another crack was heard and this time Bonnie managed to dodge and grab the whip and she pulled on it to reveal Bethra and she was about to shoot but a cold feeling came to the arm that held the while and her arm was frozen and she can't feel her arm.
Bethra got up and she looked down at Bonnie she also noticed her animal constructs trying to get out of there position so she dematerialized them.
Bethra: got to say you managed to last for quite a while but it over just give up and this will all over.
Bonnie didn't answer but instead she smiled like she won.
Bonnie: actually no you actually gave me a good chance to finish you off.
Bethra:huh?
Bethra now noticed that bubbles were actually around them she didn't understand what she was talking about from what she heard Bonnie can only make bubbles with different attributes.
She looked back at Bonnie but she covered herself in a bubble she thought that she was trying to get heat but that wasn't it.
Bonnie: I'm pretty sure you think my bubbles only stick solidifies and bouncy but what I managed to learn during my training.
Bonnie put spiritual energy in her fingers and she snapped them.
And the effect was that the bubbles were starting to glow in pink light.
Bethra then realized what Bonnie was doing.
Bethra: (they can explode!?)
She tried to make a barrier of ice but when the bubbles exploded the damage was too much and she took the explosion fortunately the bubbles were the size of hands so it was enough to knock her out.
Bethra's hair was a mess and half of the forest was damaged due to the explosion and her clothes were burnt.
When that was over Bonnie now felt dizzy due to the adrenaline leaving her body and she fell down passing out.
Thomas and Miguel went to pick up the knock out girls and Miguel was somewhat annoyed that Bethra almost crippled Bonnie.
Miguel: the blood vessel and muscle are frozen she might not be able to move her arm in a while.
Thomas: well looks like these two were the first out I was actually surprised at Bonnie's new trick.
Miguel: yeah explosive bubble imagine the damage she can cause if someone was inside her bubbles.
Thomas: yeah that will be something.
Miguel looked of to the side were Jason and ryu were fighting max and peter and he was worried that things will get out of hand.
Miguel: I'm gonna keep an eye on those two in case they try to kill each other.
