With his precise shooting and agile movements, most of the Hydra soldiers in the area couldn't even tell where the bullets were coming from before they were down.

After dealing with the pursuing squads, Arthur didn't meet up with Steve.

Riding his motorcycle in a circle, he stopped at the body of a Hydra soldier, took off his uniform and put it on. He then picked up the fallen soldier's motorcycle.

He restarted it, and found that it was still working.

Hydra's technology was not inferior to Stark's; in fact, Hydra was more advanced in many areas.

Disguised as a Hydra soldier, Arthur glanced at the scattered weapons on the battlefield. Despite the urge, he did not collect them.

Time didn't permit it!

Although he agreed with Steve's plan, Arthur suggested an additional strategy.

Both of them being captured would look too fake.

In a desperate fight, at least one should be able to escape.

The key point was that one prisoner was valuable, but two might not be.

If Hydra thought there were too many prisoners and decided to kill one, the loss would be too great, no matter who it was.

So they decided to have one visible and one hidden agent.

Since the fight leading up to the capture would be fierce and Arthur's defenses weren't as strong as Steve's shield, Steve took the visible role while Arthur took the hidden one.

Their earlier separation was part of the plan.

...

...

When Arthur arrived at the main entrance of Hydra's base, he saw that the door had been blown open.

Steve stood with his hands in the air, surrounded by soldiers, looking somewhat helpless.

Arthur touched his helmet, feeling that even Steve might not recognize him.

He left the motorcycle, slung his gun over his shoulder, and blended into the crowd.

After the recent chaos, no one noticed an intruder among them.

As Steve was led into the base, Arthur subtly followed the crowd into Hydra's main base.

As he moved along the corridor, Arthur noticed that the base was designed with great... malice.

The circular layout of the corridors greatly hindered the progress of any attacker.

The paths inside were complex and confusing.

Arthur had lost track of Steve, but he wasn't worried.

Steve had a tracker on him that allowed the main force to monitor his location.

This was the only way their team could quickly regroup with Steve.

The hole in the main gate was blown open by the self-destruct system on Steve's motorcycle, intended for the main force's attack.

As Steve and the strike team launched their internal assault, the main force would rush in from the gate, creating a pincer movement to quickly dismantle Hydra's headquarters.

Arthur's target was the Valkyrie Plane.

But a more frustrating problem loomed - who the hell knew where the Valkyrie was?

Hydra had designed the base like a labyrinth to confuse intruders, right?

Arthur gritted his teeth and kept walking, pretending nothing was wrong.

Although he seemed calm, he was growing increasingly anxious.

After all, time was running out!

As soon as Steve reunited with the strike team, the main force would rush in from the outside.

If Schmidt, cornered and desperate, managed to get onto the Valkyrie, it would be too late.

Arthur definitely didn't want to board the Valkyrie. Why not?

According to statistics, everyone who boarded the Valkyrie ended up dead!

There were two exceptions: one went into space to become Thanos' psychologist, and the other spent seventy years frozen like an ice cream cone...

So Arthur was absolutely against getting on that cursed plane.

The problem was, if he didn't want to end up on it, he had to find it and destroy it as soon as possible.

Otherwise, he might have to take a ride on the Valkyrie after all!

Just as he was getting frustrated, a nearby door opened and someone stepped out.

The person looked at Arthur's back and suddenly shouted, "Stop!

Arthur stopped and turned to face them.

"This is a restricted area," The person said with a frown. "Who are you?"

Before that person could say more, Arthur threw a punch that hit him in the nose and mouth, splattering blood like ketchup.

He grabbed the person by the neck and pushed him back into the room.

Contrary to his expectations, the room was empty except for this one person.

"Thank heavens!" Arthur almost shouted in relief, then gave a sinister smile. "Do you know what's going to happen next?"

The person's eyes widened in horror as he fumbled with his waistband. "Please be gentle..."

"Gentle, my ass!" Arthur was disgusted. Were all Hydra members so perverted?

He slammed the person's head against the wall, scratching his face. "I ask, you answer... or I will smash your face against this wall!"

...

...

A minute later, Arthur came out of the room.

Obviously, one minute wasn't enough to get any information out of the person.

However, while he didn't get any information from his mouth, he did get the map of the base!

Arthur wasted no time, striding confidently in a new direction, hopeful about his progress.

But before he could take three steps, gunfire and alarms erupted in the base.

"God damn it!" Arthur swore, before he immediately sprinting towards the Valkyrie.

The base had been breached.

Schmidt would undoubtedly flee to the Valkyrie, intending to fly away and blow up the world.

If Arthur hesitated now, it would be over!

"There's still a chance!" Arthur reassured himself as he ran, for the location of the Valkyrie was actually quite close.

After only a few turns, Arthur spotted the massive, dragon-shaped black aircraft.

The boarding ladder was down, and Arthur eagerly ran towards it.

As he climbed up the ladder, someone grabbed his waistband and pulled him down.

He was about to curse when he saw a blood-red face glaring at him. "Get on!"

Arthur blinked in confusion as the "red-faced man" boarded the plane. He was left standing in the wind, confused... Should he get on or not?
