Now, the following intelligence could be deduced...
After leveling up the Disassembler, the disassembly time significantly shortened. The originally over thirty seconds disassembly time was reduced to just over ten seconds.
Next... it turns out that to obtain more items from disassembling weapons, they must be weapons that someone has used. Brand-new weapons only yield consolation prizes!
What kind of scheme is this???
Arthur was at a loss for words. He originally thought that by raiding the ordnance depot, even if he didn't completely clear it due to time constraints, it would still allow him to take a huge leap in strength.
However, now?
After taking stock of the weapons in his Disassembler space, he found a total of forty weapons from the ordnance depot, apart from the two previously disassembled.
Among them were 26 G43 rifles!
The rest were 98K rifles with high-powered scopes!
Arthur gritted his teeth and was caught in a dilemma.
"It's so agonizing, should I just disassemble them like this, or should I think of another way?"
There were ways, but Arthur felt their feasibility was not very high.
All the weapons in his Disassembler space were brand new.
Having 'consumed' so much Beginner Rifle Shooting Experience, the accompanying knowledge about rifles made Arthur understand that the G43 rifle's performance was not inferior to the M1 Garand rifle.
So, if he went out with these brand new G43 rifles and tried to exchange them for M1 Garand rifles with these American soldiers, would they agree?
Actually, whether they would agree to the exchange was secondary; the main issue was what reason Arthur could give for the exchange.
Exchanging weapons without any reason? Even if your weapons were better, they probably wouldn't agree.
There were rules in the military camp, and even in this chaotic situation, the distribution of weapons should be subject to regulations. It wasn't something that individuals could casually decide, right?
After much hesitation, he felt that the proper way was probably impossible. There might be only one way...
"Under the cover of night, I should sneak into the tents and take away their weapons!"
Arthur came up with this method, although it seemed a bit extreme. But considering that he would probably return to the 'rear area' tomorrow and never touch the frontline battlefield again, such a good opportunity would be absolutely rare. This firm resolution was formed in his mind.
"Even if it's a struggle, at least I should become strong before struggling. Otherwise, if I can't struggle in the future, wouldn't that be very passive?"
"From a long-term strategic perspective, tonight's actions are necessary!"
This reasoning solidified Arthur's determination, and since he had slept the whole day, he wasn't tired at night, making it suitable for action!
There was still some time before it got dark. Besides the weapons obtained from the ordnance depot, there were also some weapons he had taken from enemies in Arthur's space.
During the life-and-death sniping, he obtained an enemy sniper's 98K, a P38 taken from the commander's tent, and a patrolman's short knife from grabbing the enemy. There was also a rifle taken from the enemy camp, which was disassembled during the previous experiment.
Of course, there was also the enemy commander's military uniform.
Taking advantage of the free time, Arthur decided to disassemble each item one by one.
The disassembly times varied. Items like military uniforms and short knives had relatively short disassembly times, probably just over ten seconds.
Sniper rifles took slightly longer, and pistols were next.
The harvest was as follows...
[Beginner Sniper Rifle Shooting Experience*9]
[Beginner Military Combat Technique*3]
[Beginner Bayonet Fighting Technique*7]
[Beginner Pistol Shooting Experience*4]
[Pathetic and Broken Battle Soul]
[Broken Battle Soul*3]
[Disassembler Experience +4]
After 'snapping' up the spoils, Arthur felt even more powerful.
This was an incredibly enchanting sensation— the enhancement of physical strength, and the growth of various combat techniques, and shooting skills all gave him an indescribable sense of satisfaction.
"I just wonder if it can keep growing indefinitely? If it really can achieve that, there's no need to struggle at all... Then, when 'fingers snap' to eliminate others, it would just be a snap of my own fingers to kill them!"
Arthur felt that his soul was expanding along with the increase in strength. He quickly told himself... Stay alive, don't be afraid!
As time passed, it was already deep into the night.
No one came to disturb Arthur's resting place.
Opening the tent door, Arthur stood outside, looking up at the sky for the first time.
The sky was pitch black, clouds looming, and the air was humid, suggesting rain was likely.
However, this kind of weather actually put Arthur in a good mood. He had planned to quietly do some mischief, and if it were as bright as daylight outside, wouldn't that be awkward?
However, standing under this night sky, a strange melancholy arose in Arthur's heart.
"The world from before... is probably unreachable now," Arthur sighed. Among the vast army of crossovers, those who could return to their original world were few and far between.
Most of them built families and careers in the world they crossed over to, reaching the pinnacle of their lives.
Of course, there were those who met untimely deaths, mainly because the author ended up in the palace...
Shaking his head to dispel these miscellaneous thoughts, Arthur threw these thoughts aside. Taking advantage of the fact that no one was around, he turned and slipped into the darkness.
"Now..."
Hiding in the darkness, Arthur began to ponder the next step of his plan but immediately got stuck.
"In the enemy camp, I have a deployment map to refer to... but in our own camp, where do I get a deployment map?"
Arthur became frustrated. In the enemy camp, he could wander in and out, manage to pull through various obstacles, and ultimately escape unscathed.
However, now from a standpoint, he was definitely inside his own camp... but he found himself unable to move forward because he didn't recognize anything!
How the heck do I solve this?
With an embarrassed look, Arthur could only walk out of the darkness again.
Fortunately, no one could understand this awkward situation; otherwise, Arthur felt he would be losing face big time.
But it was also good that because this was his own camp, even without a deployment map, he could wander around freely.
At least, no one would mistake him for an assassin.
However, before this thought settled, he heard a voice from behind saying, "Don't move!!!"
Arthur was stunned. Were there people this clueless? Couldn't they recognize their own people?
But when he looked down, Arthur was frustrated. Damn, he was still wearing the enemy's military uniform. He had to explain, "Captain, don't shoot, it's me!"
Turning around, he saw Agent Carter standing behind him with a smirk on her face.
