"Thirty million Beli on your head? Well, Straw Hat, you're out of luck!" Smoker sneered, gripping his Seastone-tipped jutte behind him, ready to strike. But before he could move, a hand appeared from behind, pressing down on his weapon and halting him mid-action.
"Hard to say," said a deep voice.
"What—who are you?" Smoker spun around, coming face-to-face with a cloaked figure. A flash of lightning illuminated the man's face, revealing the dragon-like tattoos etched into his skin. Smoker's expression tightened.
"The government's been after you for years!"
"The world's waiting for answers," Dragon replied with a quiet intensity, not bothering to conceal his identity.
With his words, the storm abruptly intensified as rain poured down in sheets, driven by powerful gusts of wind.
"It's now!" John's voice cut through the chaos as he observed the scene. In the original story, this gust of wind would have scattered the Navy, swept Luffy to safety along the coast, and even freed Buggy and his crew. But now, this wind suddenly shifted, redirected by an unseen force.
Dragon's Wind-Wind Fruit granted him control over the wind, but the clouds in turn influenced his wind. A force above was pushing back.
Dragon felt a disruption in his powers and instantly honed his Haki on Olivia, who was hidden in the storm clouds overhead. Sensing her presence, he tried to resist.
Meanwhile, John remained undetected—his powers concealed to the point that only the most skilled Haki users might even sense a shadow of him.
Olivia, meanwhile, used her Cloud-Cloud Fruit abilities to intensify the storm, drawing the dark clouds together and channeling all of their rain down onto Lounge Town. In moments, the entire town was engulfed by torrential downpour, making it nearly impossible for anyone to see clearly. The stormwater surged through the streets, rapidly flooding the town.
"What's going on?!"
"Is this some kind of punishment from above?"
"I have a feeling something big is about to happen!"
The townspeople retreated to their homes, but players, driven by the thrill of the scene, flooded the streets to witness the chaos firsthand.
Down on the ground, Luffy lay pinned beneath Smoker, struggling to move as the rising water began to cover him. Smoker turned to Dragon with an accusatory glare.
"Thunder, rain, wind—so, she's with the Revolutionary Army?"
Dragon shook his head, chuckling. "I don't know her."
Before Smoker could respond, a sudden force pushed him back several meters. Dragon stepped forward, raising his arms and sending a swirling gust toward Luffy, lifting him from the ground in a whirlwind. Under the storm's reflection, the vortex of water around Luffy looked almost like a dragon, propelling him safely toward the coast.
"White Fist!" Smoker snarled, re-materializing from his smoke form as he tried to chase after Luffy. But the intense rainfall immediately limited his Smoke-Smoke Fruit's powers, leaving him unable to fly. Frustrated, he could only watch as the rain grounded his powers.
From the sidelines, players gasped at the spectacle.
"Did you see that?! Smoker just got tossed around!"
"And was that a… water dragon?"
"This is next-level! We're witnessing gods in action!"
As players gathered to watch Smoker's struggle, another shift began in the storm. The clouds overhead, previously controlled by Dragon, were now under Olivia's influence. Dark clouds gathered, and thunder cracked through the sky as bolts of lightning arced downward, striking with blinding force at the center of the street.
Olivia understood the basics of controlling weather-based attacks, and with water as a natural conductor, her lightning struck true.
"What's her goal?" Dragon murmured, curious about Olivia's intent.
Then, in a dazzling moment, bolts of white lightning stretched down like pillars, illuminating the entire ground. Even Luffy, caught in the water dragon's current, took a mild shock, and the players caught in the blast found themselves completely wiped out by the intensity of the attack.
The pirates and navy forces on the street suffered heavy casualties as well.
"Damn it! What's her plan?" Smoker gasped, weakened by the blow but still conscious. While the rain helped conduct her lightning accurately, it also dissipated some of the power, sparing him from fatal damage.
Without full mastery of her powers, Olivia couldn't control both the precision and intensity of her lightning, causing some of the energy to scatter through the rain. Meanwhile, Dragon's form remained steady, protected by a layer of Haki that deflected the lightning, though his cloak was left in disarray.
"Not enough damage," John murmured from above, chuckling. "It'll take more than that to break through Dragon's defense."
Behind him, the women from Edge Horizon looked on in awe, stunned by the scale of the battle before them.
"Is this… the true power of a Logia user?" one of them whispered in amazement.
