Liam and Lea roamed around the palace for more than an hour before arriving near the training room.
"God, I am really tired and hungry after roaming around for so long. I need food," Lea said dramatically.
Liam couldn't hold back his laughter. Lea pouted in response, prompting Liam to shake his head lightly.
"This is the last place left in the west wing. Let's have a quick look, then we'll have breakfast and head to the east wing. What do you say?"
"Okay," Lea agreed happily and followed Liam into the training room.
As soon as they entered, they were greeted by the sounds of metal clashing, rocks breaking, and more. The training room was a special space within the palace, its walls inscribed with spells and arrays designed to contain even the fiercest of battles without affecting the rest of the palace.
The room itself was a vast open space with a stage at the center. One side was designated for rest and for spectators during matches.
Surrounding the stage were six pillars, each representing a different dragon power like Light (yellow pillar), Shadow (purple pillar), Sun (orange pillar), Earth (green pillar), Water (blue pillar), and Fire (red pillar).
Above the stage, a carved dragon with blue eyes, so lifelike it seemed to watch over them, adorned the ceiling.
As Lea looked around, she spotted Rayan, Jude, Vickey, Lily, Alisha, and Ria training near the stage. Liam followed her gaze and also saw their friends.
"Want to go and meet them?" he asked.
"No, let's not disturb them while they're training," Lea replied.
Just as Liam was about to nod, a familiar voice called out Lea's name. They turned to see Ria waving at them.
"She saw us. Now it's not good to leave without saying hi. Let's go greet them quickly and then have breakfast," Liam suggested.
Lea nodded, and they walked towards their friends. What they didn't notice was a pair of eyes watching them intently from the moment they entered the training room.
"What the hell is she doing here?" Tressa exclaimed in frustration as her red eyes glowed like fire.
The people around her subconsciously distanced themselves from her.
Tim who was sitting in the resting area nearby asked David.
"Who rubbed this witch the wrong way today that she is ready to burn them into ashes"
"Did you not see… just now I saw Prince Liam come in with that human girl and it not something hidden how obsessed she is over him"
"Poor girl, now she will be hurt for no reason," Tim said sympathizing with Lea.
