At the same time in some corner of the dragon world, a man in a black clock was tending to another young man's wound carefully.
The young man's body was covered in sword slashes, some severe and some minor, indicating the gruesome battle he had endured.
The man applying the medicine, along with the others in the cave, was in no better condition. One look at them and it was clear they had barely made it out alive.
"Aaaa..." The young man groaned in pain as the man in the black cloak applied the medicine.
"It's almost over, young master. Just hang in there."
The young man ground his teeth in frustration and spoke with anger.
"That bit*h… this is all because of her… I lost my dear father and the organization my ancestors had built with their blood and sweat".
"Calm down, Silva," an old man, sitting tiredly in a corner of the cave, spoke up.
"How can I calm down, master? It's all because of that slut that we're hiding in this shitty cave like mice.
What did that bitch tell us when she contacted us? We just had to kidnap a human girl, and she would take care of the rest. Where was she when our organization was slaughtered by the people from Phantom?"
The old man got up from his place, came over, and sat next to Silva, who was being treated. He placed a hand on Silva's shoulder.
"You are right to be angry, but this is not the time to lose control over yourself.
Now, with your father and brothers dead, it is your responsibility to take the master's position and rebuild what was destroyed. If you fall, the few of us who remain will also fall. You are the last hope of the Knights of Gantrick, Silva."

Back in Lea's room…
"Are you not late for your training session?" Lea asked, nestled comfortably in Liam's arms.
Liam shook his head. "I'm not going today."
"Then what do you plan to do today?"
Liam's face inched closer to Lea's, just a centimeter away. The fresh minty smell emanating from him tickled Lea's nose. "Shall we..."
Lea's throat went dry as she gulped. "No."
She placed a hand on his chest and pushed him away lightly to create some space, taking a deep breath when she heard Liam laugh next to her.
Looking at him like this her eyebrows furred angrily.
