"Elva! That's your name!"

Elva jumps around in joy an then I hear it, her voice.
'Master, Thank You!'
Since she has a higher than normal intelligence stat she can speak fluently telepathically through our link.
'Ready to explore with me?'
'Yes!'
I got deeper in the cave as she sits on my shoulder. Along the way I feed her some of the slime cores at her request and I see her purify them before consuming them.
As we go deeper I see more and more slimes gathered and I assume I'm nearing the boss room. Though due to being a bit tired realizing through the system I've been at this for a few hours I set up camp.
Right as I cook and eat my food I give Elva a few more slime cores. Then I head to be in the tent I set up with camouflage and anti monster barriers.
I lay down and pass out as I see Elva lay next to me. In my sleep i notice I'm not really dreaming, I just open my eyes and see I'm in a clearing with a large beautiful lake next to me.
Off into the distance is a golden silhouette but it's not the ones I've already encountered, it's mine. Curious I walk towards it hoping to get some answers but before I could reach it I wake up.
Elva is next to me and I give her some more cores as I get up to make breakfast. When I'm done eating I pack up the tent and start doing my daily quest after seeing it's available.
Finished I begin making my way to the boss room noticing there is no more slimes in the way. Then at the doors of the boss I prepare myself wondering what kind of Slime or Creature we would face.
The doors open as if to welcome me to my doom. Though all I am is surprised at is that the boss is asleep. I use appraisal and any worries about this encounter are dashed.

'Ok, well before I get anymore sidetracked I'll have to take care of this creature. Thank you though, I remember seeing this on Elva's status but I ignored it since I was still in the middle of hunting.'
'Let's get this fight over with…'
As I went further I noticed that the slime fairy was asleep on top of some elaborate bed and no matter how close I got it still didn't wake.
Surprised I cover my hand in lightning and then immediately plunge my hands into its chest to pull out the core. Though as I do so it wakes up screaming in pain, begging me not to kill it.
'Iris, what should I do?'
I then decided to try and tame her like I did with Elva, I've already got a new name ready.
I activate my tame skill and ask her.
"Will you make a contract with me?"
The Slime Fairy teary eyed (if that's possible) nods her head yes.
"I name you Astarte, my second partner for the battles to come."
As I called out her name both her and Elva started to glow while a cocoon of energy wrapped around their bodies. Astarte's cocoon started grow a bit bigger and Elva's grew to match her size.
Then I felt something deep within me stirring and then i could feel power welling up. It spread throughout my body and though I aesthetically didn't change much I could feel the difference.
My muscles became more dense and then I could feel all my senses along with my reflexes get sharper.
'Did my stats get a power up?'
I open my status to check hoping that they did.

'That's one hell of a jump, and I got new spells for my Affinities!'
After I finished looking and saw the glow around Elva's and Astarte's cocoons dimming just before they burst. In their place are two very beautiful women. I inspect them for their race and see that they are no longer slimes, they are now some sort of fairy.
'Iris what happened to them? Did they change to pixies?'
'Slimes can evolve this way?'
Both of the girls are wearing clothes thankfully and are about my height if not a bit smaller. Elva has white hair with matching butterfly wings that have a slight golden glow. Astarte has blonde hair and wings that match with a similar glow on them.
As I'm about to talk to them they change to a into form and fly to my shoulders. As they are about to pass out they get sucked into a portal that I sense is connected to my Tame skill.
As I concentrate I see the girls sleeping inside some sort of treehouse. Smiling I lessen my concentration and open my eyes seeing the boss room before noticing a glowing blue circle.
'We can talk later when they are awake.'
I step onto it and instead of a cave system I'm in some sort of shabby looking forest village. I notice I'm between buildings so I'm out of sight.
All around I see goblins moving about grunting in various forms and pitch's as if that's their language. Many have weapons as if they are ready to fight some sort of unknown enemy.
'Now I have to slay goblins huh?'
'Maybe they won't till I enter the village, I am after all in what feels like an alley.'
I walk out to the bustling crowd of goblins and start to fire off wind blades, water arrows, and lightning bolts. As I slay the monsters I feel some sort of energy enter me.
'What?'
'Can you simplify it?
'Why didn't you just say so?'
I swear I could hear Iris face palm herself. I almost couldn't help but laugh.
'I can't believe you thought I didn't understand!'
I smile as I continue to slay goblin after goblin and even some Hob-Goblins. After I killed all I could see I only gained one more stat point.
'Man these points are hard to gain.'
'What do you mean?'
Once the average rank goes up for every person then the planet will become stronger. There is more to it than that but what I can give you is limited till you get stronger.> 'Ok well let's get going.' I see more goblins and hobgoblins coming in the distance so I prepare myself for the coming fight. I cast and hold Lightning bolts in both of my hands charging them with more mana till I feel like releasing them. As they get closer I see some sort of red aura covering them as if it's empowering them. I throw my spells and with the mana that was charged in them I somehow decimate half of their forces. 'Oh, finally.'
