"Who are you?"
"We are the remnants of the gods who once resided here."
Then as I step forward I see them smiling trying to introduce themselves.
"It's ok, I know you don't have the energy for this. Go rest and we will try to talk to him before he leaves."
Then all but one disappear.
"Where did they go?"
"They were just waiting till one of use finally returned, after you arrived they had almost dissipated. They don't have the energy to keep themselves here. After they rest you should see them again."
"What are you guys?"
"We are the Olympian Gods, nothing but our souls are left."
He or it steps down from the throne in the middle, smiles while looking me over, and stops just in front of me.
"Follow me."
I keep up with him as he leaves the room passing through where the murals are and go into a room I didn't know was here as he pressed a switch for a secret mechanism.
"So even gods have secret passages and rooms huh?"
Instead of an answer he chuckles and keeps walking.
"Where are we going?"
"Where you will meet someone who will fully unlock your heritage."
'What?'
After a few more twists and turns we arrive at an open field where there is a circular platform with Olympian letters and symbols.
Arriving I could feel some sort of longing here and see some sadness and longing on his face, as if reuniting with someone he loves.
"There is where Olympus will see if you are a worthy god. It will ask questions and you will answer truthfully. Don't lie, it will kill you if you do."
Nervous I follow his guidance as he has me kneel on the platform and close my eyes.
Then he starts chanting something I can't understand and while that's happening I get a large warm feeling wash over me.
"Hello little Olympian, I've been waiting for you."
"Who are you?"
A beautiful and harmonious feminine voice rings out with happy laughter as if she's been waiting for this moment.
"I am Olympus itself, you would think a floating island would gain consciousness as a spirit being around Gods and having their divine energies bath me in divine light all day. Wouldn't you?"
"I guess, I've never thought it possible since all thought you to be lost."
As we were talking I felt this indescribable connection to her.
"Now how is my son doing?"
My brain froze for a second as I couldn't process what she had said.
"I'm your what?"
"My son I said and it is a long story."
I sigh realizing that my life is one convoluted story.
"I've got time."
"Ok, it starts when I gained consciousness and made a body for myself. As you know through stories on how Zeus is he couldn't resist trying to tame me before knowing who I am."
As she was speaking I could feel irritation and love from her for Zeus.
"Not too long after I wound up pregnant and told him who I am. We couldn't continue our talk since that was when those abominable rifts appeared. Creatures poured out onto me and Zeus with the others managed to repel them.
Though he understood that those were the scouting party. So he and the other gods began to inspect the rifts to see if there was a way to seal them from the outside.
They didn't, instead they found out how to make their own and they got attacked one final time. This attack was by beings far more powerful than they were ready for.
So as they fell one by one Zeus sent me though a rift of his own making and I could keep you here. I wanted you to be around others so I sealed away your heritage and sent you to Drakken.
Though it seems that I sent you ahead into the future. With you was a letter telling the believers of Olympus of your circumstances and to make sure you grew up before returning to bring Olympus back to the world.
After sending you though my connection to you vanished so I couldn't help you even if I wanted to. I could see you grow up and teach you.
I missed so much of your life."
Then I could feel something hugging me as she sounded like she was about to cry. Then I realized something.
"Zeus is my father?!"
Laughter was heard, not just from Olympus but the golden silhouette from behind me as well.
"Yes boy, I am your father."
Then his appearance shimmers into a physical form. Honestly he looks like me just with a more well defined set of muscles.
"Not surprised at all."
"Now kid one thing you need to know is that when you bring Olympus back us gods will be able to return, it'll take time though as all of our bodies will take time to recover."
"Wait so all of you aren't dead?"
"No, until your mother is destroyed neither are we. With Olympus sealed away to keep her safe we had no connection to the mana that could've helped her bring us back."
I start to pace back and forth as I realized the implications, the people will have their gods back and I will have two sets of parents. There is also the enemies they fought. I need to prepare.
"How do I do this? Bring you back to the world I mean."
Zeus smiles and Olympus wraps around me as if she is hugging me.
"You need to complete a trial."
Next to Zeus what seems to be an Olympian doorway appears next to him.
"Complete this dungeon and you will pass the trial. You have to complete all 5 floors, if you take too long it'll extend to a maximum of 10 floors for every extra day you take to complete."
"How long do I have before that happens?"
"One week is all you have till then."
I start to walk towards the door expecting to be sucked in but instead it opens up and I see a cave system with what seems to be little balls of jelly or jello moving about.
"Slimes?"
Zeus laughs at my reaction.
"It starts easy but then gets progressively more difficult as you keep reaching new floors. Each floor is different in monsters and appearance, you will see."
As I'm about to leave I hear Olympus speak as I'm about to enter.
"Be safe, I don't want this be our last."
I smile towards her telling her I'll be fine and then I enter the dungeon. As I enter I feel a similar sensation to the teleport circle sucking me in before reappearing inside what looks to be a cave system.
All along the floor is numerous little balls of gel in varying colors.
"Slimes?"
Then immediately they starts firing off attacks of various elements even some that would be considered advanced. Advanced elements are those that someone has started learning after they mastered their primary element.
After that they are given a chance to learn another element other than their main. I appraise one as I'm dodging their attacks.

"Ok so I see that these aren't normal slimes. There is an elemental mix of poison, fire, lightning, water, and so on. This will be fun."
I start going on a rampage killing slime after slime and taking their cores. As I'm doing that I get a message from the System.
After killing all the slimes near me and picking up their cores I see a very unique white slime with a slight golden glow.
'Not too sure on how to do that.'
As I start to ponder on how to tame it I inspect the creature.

'Interesting, so this is a once in a lifetime monster or something?'
'How would I do that?'
I start to ponder what I could name it since I didn't think it would have a gender as a slime and I can't exactly come up with anything on the spot so I pick it up. I start pacing back and forth along the caves trying to figure out a name for her. Then I think of one and smile.
"Got it, how about I name you…"
