After losing a friend and team member, all of them wanted to grieve; however, they were still in the middle of a test, so they couldn't do anything except continue and reach the safe zone.
Zion stayed in his beast form as he walked ahead of them all without a single sound as he tiptoed.
Ithil was in the centre as usual while Aala and Sarah took his left and right sides. Thankfully, with Zion's hearing, he would notice if someone was coming from behind. Sarah kept looking at Zion and opening her mouth, wanting to speak, before closing it again and looking down.
Ithil and Aala noticed this slight motion of her, but Ithil was the first to speak, "I know you feel guilty for Jacob's death. Don't let it consume you. Learn from it, and don't let it happen again." He spoke kindly and softly as he gave her a gentle smile.
