Once they had finished eating, Zion and Ron left the party to head towards where the Crystal was located.
Zion easily kept up with Ron as he travelled alongside the man. After almost two hours of travelling, Ron finally slowed down and then stopped just outside of a large cave.
"This is the location of the crystal. Due to people and beasts pretty much never coming here, I don't even need to hide it." Ron glanced towards Zion, curious on how the intelligence beast feels when he's close.
Ron had tested with smaller beasts that when they got within range of the crystal, they began squirming and struggling.
The furthest he managed to take a beast was the cave entrance before it struggled so bad that he had to either let it go or watch as it killed itself during the struggle.
Zion felt a strange aura coming from the cave that, contrary to what both of them expected, made him want to actually get closer at an instinctive level.
