The following two days passed uneventfully, other than Zion now hunting with the party. Even Danny was no longer needed for guarding, so they talked to him about him leaving.
Surprisingly, Danny wanted to stay until they left. He knew humans would never stay in this place long, but he liked this group.
So Danny ended up just accompanying them most of the time. He liked to help carry their things or share the fruits Aala gave him.
Zion somehow could faintly sense the mana in the air of the dungeon and, using that, seemed to be able to determine how much longer it would be active.
He focused on the mana as the others stayed quiet and watched him. After a moment, his sharp lilac eyes opened, '"Four more days. With the last two days and the eight days I was unconscious, it's two weeks."'
"That's what you said you felt like it would be to begin with." Sarah nodded her head, remembering what Zion had said when they arrived.
