Putting on my armour I made my way outside. While I did have my reservations about leaving Aleena at my house in my world, the house in this world had way more stuff that was overpowered which probably meant that these things were
'I guess I should buy another house in this world'
It would make things a lot easier.
Exiting the area I looked in the sky to see the moon in the air. Looking at the map thanks to my skill I decided to explore the unexplored area. As I was walking I noticed that there wasn't a lot of monsters as there were in the morning. I wasn't surprised though as it was the night but I was surprised there weren't really any monsters at all.
However, as I was walking and exploring the area a sense of danger filled me causing me to jump to the side.
*TANG*
A giant great sword fell where I stood. Looking at the thing that was in front of me I stood in shock. It was something I had seen in video games and I didn't think that it would be here, however, I probably should have.
A headless being wearing armor and had a ball of fire on top of its head.

'Shit'
The Headless Knight appeared in front of me in an instant causing me to raise my sword and deflect. I tried to counter however, it dodged and punched my side causing me to slide away. Thanks to the armor, however, the pain was reduced.
Raising my hand, I cast [Magic Bolt], which hit the Headless Knight in the chest. A giant hole appeared, and the Knight was sent flying back. It landed against the tree and wasn't moving. However, the next second, the fire started to pour out of every nook and cranny before the hole disappeared, and it started to stand up.
The Headless Knight then charged toward me however, I raised my sword to block the attack, however, I was launched back and hit a tree. Landing I glared at the thing before I put the sword back into my item box before I brought out a jet-black scythe. Grabbing it I took my stance and charged toward it. Blocking the sword I kicked it before I swung my scythe down causing the Headless Knight to back away. However, I didn't give it time to breathe as I charged toward it with amazing speed. I swung my scythe diagonally causing the deep gash to appear on the amour.
The Headless Knight backed away before it tried to regenerate but seemed to be struggling. This caused an opening to appear.
Swinging my scythe down I cleaved it in 2.
The armor fell on the floor along with the sword causing me to let out a sigh of relief. But that was cut short, however, as I quickly moved my head to the side causing an arrow to wiz past my face and impale the tree.
"Shit-"
Looking up, I saw something similar to the headless knight. However, instead of a sword, it was carrying a bow. I was about to pull out my bow, but six more arrows were shot at me, causing me to dodge. I saw three more of these things, causing me to panic. I grabbed the stuff and put it in the box before bolting.
After I used sense to make sure I was clear before I slowed down my pace.
'Guess those things are way out of my league for now'
Well actually I probably could've killed them however, I didn't exactly have any long-range other than my bow and magic bolt. The bow would take time to shoot and magic bolt didn't seem to have any effect on them.
However, I didn't just want to rely on my weapons. If I just relyed on them there was no way for me to improve my skills.
With a sigh, I made it back to the cabin and took everything off. I placed the armor back in the [Item Box] before I entered back in the shed.
Exiting the shed I thought about a few ways for me to bring the door inside my house. However, learning magic would make it easier.
Entering through the backyard I looked to see Aleena on the couch looking at the TV. From what I was able to see it was some sort of news channel.
"Hey I'm back," I said while heading toward the kitchen.
I then noticed that the stuff I used to make the potions was already cleaned. Aleena then came up to me "Welcome back,"
Noticing that I was looking at the kitchen she started to talk "While you were away I decided to clean,"
"Good job," I said
I was pretty impressed at the clean blender and some plates.
'I guess hiring was as a maid was a good thing'
However, I then heard my stomach grow but I thought it was louder than it should've been. Turing toward Aleena I noticed that both of her hands were on her stomach. A small blush appeared on her face and I smiled
"Let's order a pizza,"
***
A man wearing a neat suit and mask walked down the alley. He passed many people who seemed to be drunk as well as cold. This place was the entrance to the Red Light District a place where all kinds of things happen. Once the man exited the alley the smell of booze hit him.
"Same as always," mumbling that he walked around for a bit before he entered a rundown-looking bar. When he entered a loud chime was heard signaling there was another customer entered.
Walking up to the bar the man sat down and looked at the barkeeper through his mask.
"I wanna request a job," he said
Nodding the barkeep went under the desk.
Despite this place being run down it was the headquarters of the Syndicate guild one of the most notorious criminal organizations throughout the continent. The guild took up jobs as long as the price was right.
Despite being a guild they didn't exactly have any members rather they were a link between a client and mercenaries.
This man was one of these mercenaries and was also pretty notable.
His nickname was the "Masquerade" due to his fighting style. He had done many assassinations and was also responsible for the killing of the Dukes of the Empire. There were also rumors that the man was able to take on the empire's holy swords.
However, that was an exaggeration.
No one could take on the holy swords, that's why they were considered the strongest.
Well, actually that one guy could…
A paper was put on the table before it was slid over to the man. Looking at the paper the man read before letting out a whistle.
"That's a lot of money," he commented and waved the paper at the bar "Mind explaining why?"
"Rumour has it a noble's slave has escaped," he explained
"Find her and the payout will be massive,"
Hearing that the man smiled under his mask.
'Simple enough'
If he was being honest he was taking these types of quests any day due to how easy they were. But just as he was about to accept the paper was taken from him.
"Hey-"
"Is this public?" Hearing the voice the man could deduce that the speaker was female. The man was about to speak however, he noticed that the barkeep was frozen.
"Y-yes, anyone can take it. The reward will be delivered to the person who gives the slave first," the barkeep explained quickly
'She seems to be popular'
Only a few people could make a member of the Syndicate Guild scared. Either this girl was some sort of dangerous criminal or a powerful assassin.
'Wait when was she here-'
The man hadn't sensed a thing. It was as if she just appeared out of nowhere.
Nodding the woman slid the paper back and left the bar. Once she left the man saw the barkeep sigh visibly revealed.
"Who was that?"
The man was genuinely curious as he and never actually seen a Syndicate guild member scared. Looking at him in the eyes he said one word which made him freeze "Reaper".
Reaper.
It was a name infamous in the continent. No matter what criminal organization you went to or even a civilian, living a normal life you hear their name.
They were hailed as the greatest assassin and were never really seen. At first, they were thought of as a mere myth but that was until that one day.
That one day when they killed the 34th emporer. Someone who was thought to hold a candle to the holy swords.
With a deep breath, the man looked at the barkeep.
"Got any other jobs?"
