### Chapter 17: Boss Battle
Sun Han and Mia reached the designated coordinates, their hearts pounding with anticipation. The journey had been grueling, filled with creatures and obstacles they had never encountered before. Now, standing before the massive cocoon, they knew the moment of truth was upon them.
Sun Han took a deep breath and activated his live stream. Instantly, a small green message appeared in the corner of his vision: **"Sun Han is now live."** The viewer count skyrocketed, and within moments, over five million people had joined the stream. The chat exploded with comments and messages of support, excitement, and curiosity. Sun Han titled the stream **"Boss Battle,"** adding to the anticipation.
He addressed the camera, trying to keep his voice steady. "Hey everyone, it's Sun Han. We're here at the coordinates, and the boss is about to awaken. Stay tuned and wish us luck."
The countdown timer above the cocoon continued its relentless march towards zero. The atmosphere was thick with tension, every second stretching into what felt like an eternity. Sun Han and Mia took their positions, weapons at the ready.
As the timer hit zero, the cocoon began to pulsate with an intense, blinding light. A crack appeared in its surface, and with a deafening roar, it split open. Emerging from the cocoon was a three-meter tall, pale white humanoid creature. Its skin was smooth and almost translucent, and it moved with an eerie, fluid grace.
The creature's eyes locked onto Sun Han, and with a guttural growl, its hand morphed into a sharp, deadly spike. It lunged at him with incredible speed, but before it could reach him, a fireball spell hit the monster, reducing its health by -1%. Sun Han and Mia turned around to see a white-haired girl, her hands glowing with residual fire.
"Who are you?" Sun Han shouted, but there was no time for introductions.
The monster roared in anger and charged towards the girl, then redirected its fury towards Sun Han and Mia with even greater speed. Mia reacted quickly, activating her ability to summon a stone wall in front of it. The wall appeared instantly, but the monster smashed through it, reducing its health by only -0.5%.
More survivors began to join the fray, attacking the monster with whatever weapons and abilities they had. The battlefield was a chaotic scene of spells, projectiles, and melee attacks. The monster's health bar gradually decreased, but it fought back with terrifying ferocity.
Sun Han's katana flashed through the air, slashing at the monster's neck and dealing a significant blow, reducing its health by -5%. But the creature was far from defeated. It turned on Sun Han with a snarl, its spike-hand morphing into a massive fist. Before Sun Han could react, the monster kicked him in the face with brutal force, sending him flying through the air.
He landed hard, pain shooting through his body. Blood trickled down his face, and he struggled to get back on his feet. The viewers on his live stream watched in horror, flooding the chat with messages of concern and encouragement. Mia rushed to his side, helping him up.
"We can't give up now," she said, her voice determined.
Sun Han nodded, wiping the blood from his face. "We need to keep fighting."
The battle raged on, with more survivors joining the fight against the relentless monster. Despite the increasing numbers, the creature seemed almost unstoppable, taking down opponents with brutal efficiency. Sun Han and Mia continued to coordinate their attacks, using their abilities and weapons to chip away at its health.
The white-haired girl who had initially joined the fight was a blur of motion, casting spell after spell to weaken the creature. The combined efforts of everyone present gradually wore down the monster's health, but it continued to fight back with undiminished fury.
Sun Han, battered and bruised, felt a surge of determination. With a final, desperate effort, he summoned all his strength and charged at the monster. His katana gleamed in the dim light as he slashed at the creature's chest, pouring every ounce of his remaining energy into the attack.
The monster let out a final, earth-shaking roar. It staggered, its massive body swaying unsteadily. For a moment, it seemed like it might recover, but then it collapsed to the ground with a heavy thud. The battlefield fell silent, save for the labored breathing of the exhausted survivors.
Sun Han stood over the fallen creature, his chest heaving with exertion. The viewers on his live stream erupted in cheers, the chat a blur of celebratory messages. Sun Han glanced at Mia, who was equally exhausted but wearing a triumphant smile.
The monster was dead.
