Chapter 47 - Season 1 Chapter 26: "Summary of the Intermediate Studies and Lectures"

(4 Months Later) (After the 4 Months of Intermediate Studies and Lectures)

(1st Week of October 2018 — Cafeteria Building B — Morning — Monday)

4 months have passed and the entire grade 8 has completed their intermediate studies and lectures. In the whole month of June, Accel learned and understood the Class Job Roles and Responsibilities, exploring more about the fundamental roles of each class job like their evolution and promotion of each different role.

Last year, they talked about the standard class or the basic class tier. The first basic class tier known as the standard class is Swordsman, Mage, Fighter, Tank, Archer, Thief, Healer, Supporter, and Gunner. Minor class jobs include farmer, guard, blacksmith, craftsman, and carpenter.

This wasn't mentioned and will be discussed now, there are different types of tiers. Some of them are: Basic/Beginner Tier Class Jobs, Intermediate Tier Class Jobs, Advanced Tier Class Jobs, Master Tier Class Jobs, and many more.

In the previous chapter, it mentions the next-tier class jobs. Like going from Swordsman Class Job to Knight Class Job, this is how it works: (Example)

Newbie Swordsman -> Trainee Swordsman -> Apprentice Swordsman -> Swordsman (Full-Fledged) -> Elite Swordsman -> Veteran Swordsman

[This is what you call "Class Job Evolution", the natural progression within a specific class job, where characters advance through various stages, gaining more skills, power, and responsibilities as they move up the ranks. Each stage represents a deeper mastery and understanding of that particular class job. This applies to all Class Jobs Available, Found, or Discovered.]

Swordsman Class Job Evolution:

1. Newbie Swordsman: The starting point for those new to swordsmanship. Basic training and fundamental skills are acquired.

2. Trainee Swordsman: An intermediate stage where the players hone their basic skills and learn intermediate techniques.

3. Apprentice Swordsman: Advanced training begins, focusing on refining techniques and learning more complex maneuvers.

4. Swordsman (Full-Fledged): The players become proficient in swordsmanship, mastering most of the skills required for battle.

5. Elite Swordsman: The character reaches a higher level of proficiency and can take on more challenging tasks and opponents.

6. Veteran Swordsman: The pinnacle of the Swordsman class job, representing years of experience and a deep mastery of swordsmanship.

And this example is for the Class Job Promotion:

Veteran Swordsman -> Newbie Knight

[That is what you call "Class Job Promotion", the significant change in the player's career path, where they move from one class job to another, often resulting in a shift in responsibilities, skills, and role within a party. This process usually involves meeting specific requirements and demonstrating exceptional skill and potential in their current class job.]

Example: Swordsman to Knight Promotion

Veteran Swordsman to Newbie Knight: This promotion involves a character transitioning from the highest stage of the Swordsman class job to the starting stage of the Knight class job. The player retains their foundational skills but begins to learn and incorporate new abilities related to the Knight class, such as advanced defensive techniques and shields.

So, the key differences between a Class Job Evolution and Class Job Promotion are similar but have different functions and meanings. They have 3 different types of functions, the "Focus", the "Progression", and the "Skills and Responsibilities".

Enough with the whole month of June. In July, Accel learned the basic party formation last year, but this year he learned the intermediate level of understanding about party formation and the difference between the tactical formation.

All the Associations, Guilds, and Alliances prefer the use of Party Formation when comes to a small number of members between 5 to 10 members. While the Military and the Nobles (basically Knights) use Tactical Formation because they are involved with larger groups like platoons or brigades, so what's their difference?

[Party Formation refers to the organization and structure of small groups, usually employed by associations, alliances, and guilds for various tasks such as adventuring, exploring, and mission-based activities. This type of formation is flexible, focusing on the complementary skills and abilities of individual members to handle a wide range of situations.]

Key Characteristics of Party Formation:

1. Flexibility: Parties are formed based on the specific needs of a mission, allowing for a dynamic composition that can adapt to different challenges.

2. Specialization: Each member typically has a unique role (e.g., tank, healer, DPS, support), with the formation leveraging these roles for maximum efficiency.

3. Small Size: Parties usually consist of a small number of members (typically 5-10), ensuring quick decision-making and coordination.

4. Role Diversity: Includes a variety of class jobs such as Swordsman, Mage, Healer, and Archer, ensuring a balanced team capable of handling various tasks.

[Tactical Formation is a structured and strategic organization used primarily by military and noble factions, particularly knights. This formation focuses on discipline, hierarchy, and coordinated maneuvers, often employed in large-scale battles, defensive operations, and organized military campaigns.]

Key Characteristics of Tactical Formation:

1. Discipline and Hierarchy: Emphasizes strict discipline and a clear chain of command, with each unit knowing its specific role and place in the formation.

2. Strategic Coordination: Units are arranged to maximize their strengths and cover weaknesses, often involving complex maneuvers and battlefield tactics.

3. Large Scale: Typically involves larger groups, ranging from squads and platoons to entire battalions or even the entire army, depending on the scale of the operation.

4. Uniformity: Members often share similar training and equipment, focusing on cohesion and uniformity in actions and responses.

Next, in August. They have learned about the Class Job Progression, Tiers, and Requirements. Because at this time and day, there is "No Free Lunch". There are special cases in which some of the class jobs have requirements for the player to promote their class job or inherit/obtain active and passive skills.

Tiers for Class Jobs:

1. Beginner/Basic Tier:

Examples: Swordsman, Mage, Healer, Tank, etc...

Requirements: Entry Level 0

Benefits: Basic Skills and Abilities; Foundation for Future Growth

1) Common Tier Active and Passive Skills

2. Intermediate Tier:

Examples: Knight, Sorcerer, Acolyte, Guardian, etc...

Requirements: Entry Level 125

Benefits: Intermediate Skills, Titles, New Skills and Abilities

1) Commoner Tier -> Uncommon Tier Active and Passive Skills

3. Advanced Tier:

Examples: Holy Knight, Archmage, Priest, Crusader, etc...

Requirements:

1) Entry Level 400

2) Choose the Path (Light Path or Dark Path)

Example: Knight -> Holy Knight (Light Path) or Knight -> Dark Knight (Dark Path)

3) Witness and Acknowledged by the Church (Light) or Cults (Dark)

Benefits: Advance Tier Skills and Abilities

1) Mix Uncommon and Rare Tier Active and Passive Skills

(Note: There will be changes regarding the Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, etc... I think you might notice the changes for the next few chapters.)

As players advance and are promoted through tiers, their skills evolve, becoming more powerful and gaining additional effects. Both Active and Passive Skills.

(Note: You can read and based on the tiers in Chapter 3 Part 2. I don't want to place it here again. Thanks!)

Lastly, in September. They will begin their Individual Assessment, basically their written exams. The written exams are designed to test the theoretical knowledge that Accel, his classmates, and the entire Grade 8 have acquired. The exam includes a variety of question formats such as multiple-choice, short answer, and essay questions.

Subjects Covered:

1. Class Job Progression: Understanding the hierarchy and evolution of class jobs, including the requirements for advancing from one tier to the next.

2. Skill Evolution: Detailed knowledge of how skills improve and change as a character advances in tiers.
