We have planned to walk where the carriage was, but my mother's maid arrived at our location. It was strange. How did she know our location? " Master Ethan! What happened? Madam will be angry " She scolded me.
"Yeah a lot happened but I don't want to talk now " I said
"Master, I don't want to face your mother " Seraphina was scared shitless seeing me.
"I am hurt serphie. You should be concerned about my wellbeing " I replied
"If Lady Lucia heard what happened to you, then she would destroy the whole town and lock you up in your own room for a year " Seraphina explained the grim details
"And kill you " My mother's maid pointed at seraphina.
"Eek" Seraphina replied with ghastly expression.
Please not now. Don't beat the dead cat.
I have tried to walk on my own, but chole insisted on carrying me inside the carriage despite the short distance.
"Yeah, but where are you, when I need you the most " I asked her being bit annoyed.
"I couldn't forgive myself if I something happened to you, but I was stopped by a man named no 10. He was quite persistent " Chole said she bit her teeth and was frustrated, her voice bit sad and frustrated. If I push her, she might cry.
"Chole was very angry and brutally murdered him in cold blood, and Kimora was stopped by mage " Charlie explained.
"Pesky humans! Even when I am not killing them, they paint me as bad guy. He was desparate to kill me " Kimora explained while trying hard to be composed
"I am human too, kimora " I objected while looking at her eyes
"You are different, you are my Darling~ " she said, blushing and holding both her hands to her cheeks. She seemed cute, like a shy wife on the first night.
The wagon continued along the uneven road, what is the king or authority doing here, not fixing the roads. However, my thoughts was short-lived. Up ahead, a group of magic knights had set up a checkpoint with their imposing figures standing guard.
"We're being stopped," Charlie muttered as he scanned the area
Yeah, I know
"Great, just what we need," Chloe said, her tongue clicking.
My words, exactly
The knights were inspecting travelers with on high alert after the recent destruction in the town. One of the knights raised a hand, signaling us to stop.
"State your business," the knight asked, while gazing at us
Killing, murdering people who are annoying, as I glared silently at him while resting.
Before I could respond, a figure familiar to me stepped forward from the group of knights. It was Flare, the examiner from the second test in the mage exam I had passed a week earlier. She had a commanding presence, her fiery red hair and sharp eyes making her easily recognizable.
But She was also an augmenter and simple minded.
"Calm down, gentlemen," Flare said, her voice with a strange and out-of-character authoritative tone "These are my friends. I trust them."
The knights immediately stepped back, their behavior changing instantly. Flare approached our wagon with a smile on her face. "Ethan," she said, nodding to me. "Good to see you again."
I nodded back, I said in a tired tone. "Flare, thank you."
She leaned in slightly, lowering her voice so only I could hear. "Meet me at our usual place," she whispered as she winked before stepping back.
Chloe's eyes narrowed as she watched Flare. She muttered something under her breath while glaring daggers at Flare. Her look was deadly, and I could sense the jealousy beneath her face.
Flare straightened up and addressed the knights. "These people are under my protection. Let them pass."
The knights nodded, stepping aside to let our wagon through. Flare gave me one last look, her eyes twinkling with amusement, before turning back to her duties.
As the wagon started moving again, Chloe leaned over to me, her expression still serious. "Really Ethan? Another one?"
" I don't mind you seducing women, but you should stop engaging in sexual activities with random women on the streets " she whispered, her voice filled with a mix of frustration and amusement.
I sighed, not knowing whether to laugh or be annoyed "It's not what you think, Chloe."
She rolled her eyes but couldn't hide a small smile. "We'll see about that, Master."
Since when you have developed personality chole. Give me the innocent chole back.
Kimora who is still holding my hand when I slept inside the carriage, glanced at me with a curious expression. "Who is she?" she asked softly while pointing at Flare.
"An ally," I replied, trying to keep my tone neutral. "She will help us."
"Oh" She whispered while thinking for a while.
"Can I kill her darling~ " she suddenly asked with a sweet sickly smile on her face.
"Kimora, first of all never change, and second don't kill every person you hate. It will be a pain to deal with " I replied as I told her.
I found her sweet and dangerous side arousing. Why do I get exicted like a kid? Maybe I have kink for dangerous women
"Remember you are a changing person, you are supposed to change. The only people you should kill are my enemies" I replied to her while patting her head and calming her down for a while and after that I have decided to rest
I slept inside the carriage, as I had slept inside it. I awoke after some time, but when I did, I felt hot and my cheeks are warm, my internal clock in my body is ruined. And I felt like hell
The carriage had finally approached the capital, the towering walls and bustling streets came into view.
The sight of the familiar city brought a sense of relief, yet also reminded me of my responsibilities. We passed through the gates, greeted by the bustling energy of the capital, and made our way toward the castle.
My cheeks were hot, flushed from the intensity of the journey and the battle we had endured. The same sensation of heat from earlier battle returned, stronger than before.
As we arrived at the castle gates, the guards quickly recognized us and allowed us entry. The wagon rolled to a stop in the courtyard, and I disembarked, feeling the weight of the recent events still heavy on my shoulders.
"Ethan!" I heard a familiar voice call out. I turned to see my mother rushing toward me, her face was full of worry and relief.
"Mother," I replied as she enveloped me in a tight hug snuffed myself closer to her bossom as I felt the bouncy part. Her arms wrapped around me, holding me close as if she never wanted to let go.
"Oh, my dear boy, I was so worried," she said, her voice trembling.
She pulled back slightly to check for injuries, her hands moving over my arms, shoulders, and face. Her touch was gentle. "Are you hurt? Let me see."
Her fingers traced over the bruises and cuts, her eyes scanning every inch of me. As I yelped while she was touching me.
She has started groping and caressing my cheeks, her touch warm and soothing. "You've been through so much," she murmured, her lips brushing against my forehead in a tender kiss.
*Mwah *Mwah
My membrane got excited as it rose with each kiss of mother.
I could feel the heat of her kisses, leaving marks of her lipstick on my cheeks. I can feel her affection made my cheeks feel even hotter with each kiss. It was embrassing but oddly comforting to me. Her kisses left a trail of lipstick marks around my cheek
Kimora, watching the scene with a puzzled expression, leaned closer to Charlie. "Is it normal for human offspring to mate with their parents?" she asked innocently. "Should I prepare a daughter for Darling?"
Charlie nearly choked, quickly shaking his head. "No, no, Kimora. This is just a mother-son moment."
Chloe added with a serious tone, "Their bond seems to go beyond just mother and son."
"Quiet!" Seraphina hissed, her eyes wide with alarm. "Madam Lucia might make you disappear if she hears you."
"My cheeks are covered in your lipstick, Mother," I said with a small laugh, trying to lighten the mood.
She smiled through her tears, her eyes shining with relief. "I don't care. I'm just so happy you're safe."
She kissed my cheeks again, adding more marks. "You mean everything to me, Ethan."
"I promise, Mother," I replied, my voice firm. "I'll be careful. And I'll do everything I can help those I care about."
She nodded, her eyes still filled with worry but also with pride. "I know you will. You're strong, just like your father."
I winced slightly at the mention of my father, feeling confused expression. My father had left us years ago, and it was a wound that never fully healed for her. But I knew my mother didn't mean to bring up painful memories; she was simply trying to be supportive to me.
"There's so much I need to tell you, Ethan," she continued, her voice softer now. "About our family."
I looked at her, sensing her worry. "What do you mean, Mother?"
She sighed, her eyes almost teary expression. "Your father... and your sister. ."
"My sister? That's strange" I asked, feeling a knot form in my stomach.
I heard nothing about it, I thought I was only child. I think it has to be elder sister, I would have known if I had a little sister so. It seems she had left us and it was rarely discussed. So I might not know her
"What happened to her?" I inquired
My mother hesitated, her eyes darting away from mine. "It's... complicated, Ethan. She... she made some choices that were difficult for me to understand. She defected, but the reasons are... not something I want to burden you with right now."
I could see she was holding something back, a truth she wasn't ready to reveal to me. "Mother, please. I need to know." I asked her
She shook her head with a pained expression. "I will explain later, but for now just relax at home"
"Come on, I will feed you plenty " She responded pulling me to our personal room
