Chapter 2 - Noted, Noted!

"Sir, this guy is trying to copy my answers!"

Ghost Student: "???"

The loud shout echoed sharply in the silent classroom.

All the players and ghost students focused on the seemingly reckless figure.

Meanwhile, the viewers in the livestream chat went wild, staring in shock at Emmett's aggrieved expression.

"This guy's got some nerve..."

"I heard seven parts justice, three parts grievance in that shout. Reminds me of my school days."

"LOL, shit, that ghost student is totally stunned."

"If you accuse someone first, then you're not the one in trouble!"

Faced with Emmett's sudden accusation, the ghost student planning to attack froze in place, momentarily unable to react.

In all its years of haunting, it had never encountered someone like this.

Seriously? This is a test for ghosts, and you're saying I'm copying a human's answers?

Do ghosts not have any dignity?!

But before it could reach out to grab Emmett's eyeball, the exam supervisor had already arrived beside it, the intense coldness freezing both the ghost and Emmett in place.

The supervisor's bloodshot eyes glanced at both their test papers, and its cracked lips twisted into a strange smile, as if it had made a decision.

Emmett's heart was in his throat. Based on his observations before the game started, this was his only option.

With the hint's help, if this didn't work, he was truly out of luck.

As the supervisor's hand slowly lifted, the other players and viewers tensed up.

Until the moment the hand touched the ghost student's head—

Bang!!!

Without warning, the ghost student's head exploded like a watermelon, blood and flesh splattering everywhere, adding a gruesome touch to the classroom.

Feeling the warm blood trickle down his face, Emmett couldn't help but swallow hard, his heart racing so fast he could barely breathe.

He had won the gamble!

But before he could relax, the supervisor's hand landed on his shoulder again, making him shiver involuntarily.

Was the supervisor planning to take them both out?!

Unexpectedly, the anticipated scene of carnage didn't happen. The exam supervisor merely patted his shoulder and walked away, its ghostly, raspy voice echoing through the classroom—

"Well done, keep it up."

"What the heck, how is it possible? All C's are actually correct?"

"I've never admired anyone this much in my life. This guy is a gambling genius. If he had doubted himself even a little, he would've been done for."

"And he's a newbie? Even veterans might not be as steady as him."

The situation had developed beyond everyone's expectations, drawing more viewers into the livestream and giving other players a glimmer of hope.

Ha, so I can actually play this level like this?

Noted, noted.

As Emmett continued to copy the answers from the hints, another player immediately started mimicking him—

"Sir, this guy is copying my answers too!"

The supervisor's footsteps paused slightly, and it immediately turned to walk towards the player who had spoken up.

At the moment the proctor turned, Emmett quietly tore off a corner of his scratch paper, wrote down a few answers, and flicked it into the shadow at the foot of a ghost student in the front row.

"Whoa—this newbie is still going?!"

"I think he has a bold idea."

"This is what you call a professional supervisor's helper. Even if there's no cheating to catch, you can create cheating conditions for others, LOL"

"Do you think these ghost students will get wiped out?"

"Dang, now that you mention it, the vibe feels off. Isn't this supposed to be a horror game? Who's the real ghost here?"

While most of the livestream viewers were focused on Emmett, a small portion still kept an eye on the new player who had just spoken up.

Just like before, the supervisor glanced at both sides, but to the player's bewilderment, the supervisor remained indifferent and turned to leave.

What was going on? He didn't take out the ghost student? Was my tone not pitiful enough?

As the player tried to figure it out, he suddenly felt something liquid trickling from the corner of his mouth.

Instinctively wiping it—

Blood?

"Ugh!!!"

Under the horrified gazes of the other players, the mimicking player spewed a mouthful of blood, splattering the back of the ghost student in front of him. A crushed tongue fell onto the desk, staining it a deep red.

The player rolled his eyes and swayed slightly before his head slammed onto the desk, completely lifeless.

Dead?!

What went wrong?

The glimmer of hope was snuffed out once again, and the shadow of death loomed over every player's heart.

Was it that only the first player to report could get rid of the ghost student next to them? Or did they have to wait for the ghost student to make a move before reporting?

Various guesses flooded their minds, but no one dared to speak up again, fearing that a wrong guess would make them the next to die.

Seeing the classroom return to its eerie silence, Emmett suppressed his nervousness and raised his hand again—

"Sir, I think I saw those two passing notes with answers."

"???"

The two ghost students Emmett pointed at looked bewildered.

They had been diligently answering questions the whole time and hadn't done anything wrong. This was a blatant false accusation!

The supervisor followed Emmett's direction, walking slowly despite having no eyes, yet still keenly noticing a crumpled piece of paper by one of the ghosts' feet.

Bending down to pick it up and glancing at it, the supervisor's actions left the players increasingly puzzled — the next second, the limbs and heads of the two ghost students exploded into a mist of blood.

What the heck was going on? Why did every accusation this damn guy made hit the mark?

Could it be that reporting others depended on one's look?!!

After easily dealing with two more ghost students, the last bit of tension in Emmett's heart dissipated completely, and all sorts of bold ideas began to sprout.

As he considered his next target, his gaze fell on the ghost student sitting to his left.

Seeing the troublemaker suddenly fixate on him, the ghost student shivered.

Stay the hell away from me!!

As Emmett's smile grew increasingly maniacal, the ghost student instinctively stood up, trying to flee.

However—

"Sir, this guy is trying to leave before finishing the test!"

Bang!!!

This time, the ghost student didn't even leave behind any remains, his entire body exploding into a mist of blood that scattered throughout the classroom, leaving the other players in a daze.

These moves... I don't think I can make them…
