Chapter 11 - 11-The sky is clear tonight

Sanferus responded in amazement: What did you say?

Mina said in a louder voice: "I said, 'No, I will not complete any of this. I want you to take me back now so that I can leave and go back to my home and my parents.'" I was really a fool for leaving home.

Mina kept talking, while Sanferus was listening without any expression. When Mina finished speaking, Sanferus sighed and said: "I really don't care whether you want to stay or not, but this mission I must complete; So until you finish I won't go home, if you want to stay stay, but you should help me with some things here and there, but if you don't want you can go home alone, and also the way home is not difficult, I think you can go home alone.

Mina got angry and responded: Don't you have any sense of responsibility? How can you let me come back by myself?!

Sanferus replied sarcastically: Look who's talking? He is the same person who made an agreement that he would stay with us in exchange for serving us. If I am irresponsible, what do you call yourself?

Mina replied: This agreement has been cancelled.

Sanferus replied coldly: Then why would I protect you when I cancel the agreement? Sanferus finished speaking and left without saying anything.

Mina could not bear it any longer and called out angrily: Where are you going, leaving me like this? Come back. Sanferus continued on his way without paying attention to Mina. He went next to the dead animal, took out his dagger in the animal's eye, wiped it, put it back in its place, and then continued on his way. Mina was very angry and kicked a nearby rock to reduce his anger, and he was also full of thoughts about what he would do if he returned alone.

He may meet one of these predatory animals again, and he will not be lucky to survive again, it is true, but if he stays with Sanvirus, he will also stay in this place full of predatory animals, but in return, he will have someone with him who will protect him, but he cannot go to him like this after what he said. . His mind was aching because he did not know what to do, and he noticed that Sanferus' bag was still with him, that bag was full of all his hunting tools, supplies, and more.

But Sanferus didn't take it with him. Did he forget it? impossible; Because he needs it for his work, unless he left it on purpose so I could return it to him. wait a moment. Did he know that I would choose to move forward with him? Well this is actually a bit embarrassing, but I'm not going to help him with anything, I'm just going to stay with him until he's done and we can go back and use the book and go home.

Mina carried the bag and walked in the path that Sanferrus had taken, and he quickened his steps until he noticed Sanferrus in front of him. He was really glad to have found him, just as he thought he was really waiting for him; Because if he hadn't been waiting for him, he would have gotten far away from him with his speed. Mina approached Sanferus until he heard his laughter, and said in a sarcastic tone: Why did you come back?

Mina said in a natural tone: Because I want to live, of course.

Sanferus was surprised by the response. He didn't expect the boy who seemed so kind and hesitant to be so frank, but he didn't care much. Sanferus said with a laugh: What do you mean?

Mina said: It is clear, the place next to you is safer than being alone in an unknown forest full of unknown things.

"But like I said, if you want to be with me, you have to help me, okay?" Sanferus said.

Mina replied: Of course I will. But inside Mina was saying, "My name will not be Mina if I help you," but of course he tries not to show any of this on his appearance.

They walked a lot but did not find the herd of three-horned deer anywhere. It seemed that the previous attack of the animal had made the herd go deeper into the valley. After some time passed, the light began to decline, indicating the onset of darkness. Sanferus and Mina stopped and said, "We'll be camping here tonight." Mina was terrified because he was afraid that some predators would appear.

But he tried to calm himself that he would be fine. Yes, he was about to become a snack for one of the animals, but that did not happen, and having Sanferus by his side made him more reassured.

Sanferus began to prepare the place, making crude sleeping places with leaves, and making a fire, and during this time he did not ask Mina to do anything. Mina was surprised why he didn't ask anything from him. Didn't he say that I should help him if I wanted to stay by his side? But he shook off these thoughts, and was also glad that Sanferus seemed to realize that he wanted nothing to do; So he left him at ease.

When Sanferus finished the preparations and other things, the night had already fallen, and the place that had been full of liveliness and the sounds of birds fell silent. Instead, he heard the sounds of the night insects and the sounds of the breeze that was passing through the valley and making the grass around him move as if there were animals waiting to pounce on their prey. .

Mina felt his hair almost stand up from fear. He never imagined that this valley, which resembled a great garden, would turn into a place resembling a haunted house or something similar to it. While he was listening to the surroundings, Sanferus was boiling water using something like a pot, and putting into it the legs of the deer that he had cut off and on which he had put the poison of that frog or whatever it was.

After a minute had passed, those dry legs turned back to normal, so he took them out and started cutting the meat from the bones and put them back in the boiling water. He added some strange herbs and started stirring them. After a few minutes had passed, a pleasant smell spread from the pot, and he took out the pieces of meat one by one and started eating. Mina approached him to get his share, but he removed his hand and said: What do you want?

Mina replied: Of course I want to eat. Can you move away a little so I can get my share of the food?

"What right do you have to eat," replied Sanferus, "when you said you did not want to help in my work. He who does not help does not eat."

Mina replied: But what about what you did this morning, carrying that heavy bag and other things?

Sanfiros replied: So you're saying that carrying the bag is a help? Please don't make me laugh.

Mina said, his anger reaching its peak: So what do you want me to do now to deserve to eat? Also, I said I won't help you and I won't go back on my word.

"Well then," said Sanferus, "if you don't want to help, you won't eat." Well well there is a way. Mina's eyes lit up and he said: What? "By making a bet," Sanfiros said. Mina said: What? are you kidding me?! Why? "That's my policeman if you want to eat," Sanferus replied coldly.

Mina was really very angry, he didn't know what to do but he was also hungry and the smell of food made him salivate. He said: What is the bet? Do 50 push-ups, Sanferos said. Mina said: But I cannot do fifty. As you can see, my structure is very weak. I may only be able to do ten push-ups. Sanferus replied: No, 50 push-ups and you will do them correctly, and if you do one wrong you will repeat the count again, and I will watch you, or do you want to sleep on an empty stomach? As you know, this is not a nice feeling.

Mina gritted his teeth in anger, but in the end he took a push-up position and began to count: one... two... three... ten... He was so tired, his body could no longer take it, and he was going to slack off, but he heard... Sanferus's voice: Don't slack off, or you'll start the count again. Mina continued to count, cursing Sanferus to himself, but he did the twenty incorrectly, so he made him repeat the count from the beginning. He made a mistake again at the thirty-five count, and repeated the count until he finally completed fifty correctly. It was as if the muscles in his arms believed they were finished, so they slackened and Mina fell on his stomach. He was panting heavily and drenched in sweat. Mina was extremely tired, but he noticed that his intense anger had also subsided when he was doing the exercises, as if each rep was a small black hole devouring all the negative feelings inside him. When he finished his exercises, he was able to think correctly again and remember the words she had said. Instead of thanking Sanvirus for the rescue, he rebuked and also cursed. He felt guilty, ashamed, and remorseful, and was pulled out of his thoughts when a small plate containing pieces of meat was placed in front of him. Mina got up to adjust his position and looked at Sanvirus, who returned to his position after he gave him the food. Sanvirus suddenly said, "This is what you eat." The words made Mina's stomach make noises in order to remind Mina that she was hungry, and in addition to the wonderful smell of meat that was making him even more hungry, he could not control himself and began to devour the food. He did not care about the etiquette of eating at that moment. Anyone who looked at him at that moment would think he was a beggar who had not seen it. Well, I can't blame him either. He was hungry, and he also made a muscular effort that he had never done in his life. He was very hungry. After he finished eating, he laid his back on the grass and patted his full stomach, and a look of joy and happiness appeared on his face when Sanvirus saw this. He said: You can go to sleep now

Mina replied: But what about you?

Sanferus said: I will stay in order to secure our surroundings. After Mina heard this, he looked at the sky that was above him and found that it was completely clear this night without any clouds. He could see all the stars that were in it. They were of different sizes, some large and small, some very bright, and some faint. You thought it would go out at any moment. This scene looked like a clear lake containing burning pearls, and in addition to the surrounding environment and the sound of insects, it did not take long for him to close his eyes and go into a deep sleep.
