Veritas shook the tailor's hand and felt it tremble for a moment. He did not find this behavior to be unfamiliar due to the fact that his mere presence probably caused the boy to be nervous despite his formal front.
With the pleasantries between both of them finished, Veritas stared at the direction of Alice and gestured for her to introduce herself.
"Ah- Right."
She paused momentarily and introduced herself.
"I am Alice Dragonia, Daughter of Duchess Dragonia. It is a pleasure.."
The tailor smiled warmly at the introduction of the two.
"Thank you... both. Shall we start with the measurements?"
Both of them were measured at the same time. The tailor measured Veritas and his mother, the receptionist, measured Alice.
In mere moments, their job was finished. Veritas was quite surprised by how fast it took.
Not only that, but the perfectly made clothes that were only displayed amazed him very much. It was truly the right decision to trust his Father's words.
Veritas knew that the development of his uniform was in good hands.
After the measuring procedure, Veritas inquired:
"How long would it take for the uniforms to be finished?"
The Tailor, who was writing down notes on a notebook, shifted his head towards Veritas.
"It will be done by today or tomorrow, your majesty.."
"I-I see."
"Be rest assured, I will personally work on the uniform of yours.."
Veritas was surprised by the efficiency of this shop. A highly detailed and custom-made uniform for the Prince and a Daughter of a Duchess, would only take mere hours to complete?! He was truly an amazing figure, and he was only 17 years old at that!
Either he was a complete flop of a tailor, or he could really be a skilled master of his work.
However, basing on the perfectly made suits and clothing, Veritas leaned in more on the latter.
'It'd be beneficial for me to have someone like him on my side..'
To have a personal tailor for daily necessities, one that was very skilled at that, seemed really unreal to Veritas.
But.. he had no doubts about his skill.
"I entrust this matter to you.."
Veritas politely bowed his head.
"I am grateful for your trust, your majesty.."
Wondering about the costs of such a high-leveled tailoring skill, Veritas asked:
"How much would the price be?"
"Don't mind it, your majesty! It is our honor to tailor for you.." The receptionist waved her hands in panic.
Veritas shook his head in response.
"It is only honorable to pay, madam. Please, I insist."
It took a while to convince the awkward receptionist, but Veritas ultimately did so in the end..
The total price ended up to be 10 White Elrodite, each.
Veritas, Alice, and the receptionist, went back to the counter in order to tally the payment, leaving the 17-year old tailor behind..
"I appreciate your services, Madam.." Veritas thanked warmly.
He reached out inside his tote bag and pulled out a vintage looking wallet. In it, there were various notes of bright white currency.
Veritas then brought out two 50-note bills of White Elrodite.
"I'll pay for both of us. As for the change, I'll leave it as a tip."
"This.. I cannot accept this, your majesty. The cost is only 20 Elrodite total.."
"It's my pleasure and gratitude for your great service."
In the receptionist's eyes, Veritas seemed benevolent, he looked to be the embodiment of kindness itself.
"You are too selfless, your majesty!!"
The receptionist accepted the notes with a shy expression on her face.
"Thank you so much.." She bowed deeply.
Veritas smiled warmly at this sight. Nothing was better than showing kindness to others, his heart felt soother and eased.
With that, the two of them left the shop.
"The art of their seams and clothing is impeccable."
Alice wasn't showing emotions in her words, but she described it as if the clothing were made by a divine being themselves.
"Truly.. Uh, Lady Alice?"
She nodded and asked:
"Yes?"
"Due to our early departure, the day is still quite young. What do you suggest we do?"
The blonde-haired girl pondered for a moment before answering..
"You haven't eaten yet right?"
'Come to think of it.. I haven't eaten breakfast yet.' With those thoughts, Veritas replied, "I haven't indeed."
"Shall we go?"
"Alright.."
The two of them went back inside the carriage and headed off to the busy streets of Gold Borough, searching for a proper place to eat...
*
After a long day of eating and having fun, Veritas finally made it back to the castle.
"Ah- so tired.."
He laid on the bed face first, and felt the comforts of its soft mattress.
Veritas recalled the situation that happened today.
After they finished getting their measurements, Veritas and Alice ate at a famous cafe.
They spent a couple of hours there, talking about their lives and eating light food. They also ordered a couple of drinks, further prolonging their time spent.
Their time at the cafe came to an end when noon arrived, due to them already eating in the cafe, they didn't decide further on where to get lunch.
Rather, Veritas suggested that they get entertained at an archery place. There were a couple of places that involved relieving oneself by letting loose in terms of shooting with a bow.
Their afternoon was spent competing with one another and in the end, Alice won the competition. It was only for fun though and there were no major consequences.
Alas, after a tiring archery practice, Veritas and Alice felt famished. Seeing as the two of them had nothing else to do, they went ahead and grabbed an early dinner.
Eating at one of the most popular restaurants in Gold Borough, it had been quite pricey but Veritas' pocket was filled with loads of money.
And now, the day comes to a finish, and Veritas lay down on the floor, motionless.
One could say that the two of them went on a date, but Veritas did not think of it that way.
To him, it was too early to get a love interest. Many youths of his age are already at the height of their lives, but Veritas was the opposite.
He wanted to do mundane things, and enjoy life as it is..
He wasn't prepared to introduce another important equation to it.
Even if a girl as alluring as the Duke of the Duchess were to confess to him, Veritas would most likely reject it.
He was not finding a potential girlfriend any time soon.
'I should bathe first..' His mind said, yet his body kept unmoved, laying upon the soft bed indefinitely..
After a few moments, he gained the courage to get up and bathe. It only took a few seconds for him to finish and dress up. Once he did, he dried his hair using the Winds, and laid down on the bed once more..
He already felt tired...
So, Veritas went to sleep.
Lying face down, he went deep into a sweet slumber, being free of any distractions in life.

Meanwhile, the Dragonia Residence in Diamond Borough..
Alice was reading some reports casually.
These were the papers that she requested from the Knights in Elrod, it had to do something about the investigation of a student in Knights Academy.
That particular student was Lumen Norn, the tailor from earlier.
Although she idolized him to the point of being at awe with his creations, something deep within her felt off..
This suspicion was further enhanced by the fact that Lumen works at a tailor shop, a job that deals with making clothes and handling cloth, fabric, sheets and... strings.
She already read his past at the Academy. It seemed like he was an above-average student, always excelling at written exams, practical exams, and theoretical exams.
Moreover, his battle prowess relied more on wielding a peculiar type of weapon. To be specific, it was a thin needle that he uses to fence and even fight..
Alice then read her avatar report.
"Lumen Norn"
"Path: Tailor's Needle"
"Path Rank: Noble"
"Soul Rank: Pure"
"Attunement: Seamster of Needles."
Upon reading the reports, Alice felt reassured of his safety.
"Needle, huh.."
Although there was a lingering suspicion deep within her, the evidence in front was concrete and factual. She could not deny objective evidence, thus she was forced to swallow her own suspicion.
With that, she folded over the reports and decided to be finished for the day.
She thought back and a sense of accomplishment washed over her.
'Today is a good day.'
She spent her time with the Prince, acquainted herself with a talented tailor, tried the special foods in Central City of Elrod, and even competed with the Prince himself, which ended up with her win.
In the end, all she could think about is the weird feeling that she had of the tailor. However, she dismissed that thought and accepted one fact.
'I guess he's just a really really really really really Tailor."
With that, Alice closed her eyes and dazed off along the somber night of Elrod, basked in the vivid light of her lamp.
As she fell asleep, the moon shone brightly above.. showing the splendor of a once bustling and busy street.
