Even the most discerning lecher would find those legs perfect—long, shapely, and smooth. Clad in a vibrant red robe, as dazzling as a spring rose, her snow-white skin stood out even more strikingly. Flowing silver hair cascaded down, complementing her graceful figure enveloped in the lightweight red robe. The bare neck and slightly curving chest suggested a tantalizing question: was she wearing anything under that robe?
And then there was her face! This was the third time Freyr had seen this face. The first time was in the hidden chamber below, in the two-hundred-year-old magical array left by the great astrologer Natalie, where he saw Natalie's own illusion. The second time was the powerful witch, the icy beauty, Naya. And now, for the third time!
Unlike Naya's cold and proud expression, this face was full of serene charm. Her gentle eyes moved softly, far more tender than Naya's gaze. Freyr was stunned! White hair, a stunning beauty, a red robe... The woman emerging from the burning painting was unmistakably... the great astrologer Natalie herself!
Freyr had imagined many things about what might be sealed in that painting. Natalie's magical video had mentioned it was a magical creature she left behind. It could be a ghost, a monster, or even a talking skeleton, and Freyr wouldn't have been surprised at all. But all his guesses were wrong! Emerging from the painting was Natalie herself!
Freyr took a deep breath, muttering, "I never expected... never expected..."
"Never expected what?" Natalie spoke, her voice just as it had been in the magical video—soft, alluring, with a slight husky tone.
"I never expected you to seal yourself in the painting," Freyr smiled wryly. He had been through so many surprising events that he quickly recovered. "How should I address you? The great Master Natalie? Or... my ancestor?"
Natalie laughed, her eyes curving like crescent moons. "Neither," the silver-haired woman replied calmly. "I am not the real Natalie, just a... replica."
Freyr looked at her, puzzled.
"Natalie left me to guide her descendants. I am a magical creature that inherited part of her knowledge... To be precise, I am a spirit creature. I have no physical body... I am just a shadow, a phantom," she explained, extending her hand to touch Freyr's face, but her hand passed through his head. "See, my body is intangible, without a fixed form. I am merely a segment of Natalie's memory. As for my appearance..." She blinked, "I chose it myself. My memories are all Natalie's memories, those of a woman. And Natalie was the only woman I knew... So, in a way, I am Natalie, just a fragment of her. That's why I chose this form to meet you," she said, looking at Freyr. "My... master."
Heavens, the way she said "master" had a mischievous glint in her eye. Freyr realized this magical creature he had released wasn't going to be simple, or obedient.
Not being the real Natalie... That was a relief. He already had enough on his plate. A resurrected ancestor would have been too much.
"Can you take another form?" Freyr sighed. "Your current appearance puts a lot of pressure on me... and if someone else sees you..."
"Don't worry. I am linked only to your mental power through the spell you used to release me. Others can't see me," she reassured him, still smiling.
"So, what should I call you? You must have a name."
"Natalie." She thought for a moment. "I still like that name. Just call me Natalie."
Freyr couldn't help but wipe the sweat off his forehead... still an ancestor.
"Can you teach me star magic now?" Freyr frowned.
This Natalie seemed overly curious about everything, perhaps due to being confined for too long. She sat atop Freyr's desk, her white legs swinging in front of him. Oh heavens, didn't she realize the hem of her robe wasn't very long? If she kept swinging her legs, she might accidentally expose herself.
Having such a beautiful woman expose herself before you would normally be delightful. But if she looked exactly like your ancestor... it was more creepy than enjoyable! Naya, despite her resemblance, was a different person with a different personality, so Freyr didn't feel awkward. But this Natalie not only looked like her but also carried some of the real Natalie's memories!
"Alright, get down!" Freyr turned away, grabbing a blanket from the sofa in the corner of the study and tossing it to her. "Cover yourself with this."
