The sector one battlefield had been torn to shreds. The earth had felt the pain of humanity's ruthlessness. Blue fire billowed touching the sky as been of lights shot through them attempting to strike another human being.

Vulsus came to a violent rolling stop. Pain rushed through his body from all sides as he looked up to see the shadow-covered figure of Neko approaching. Blue flame surrounded him refusing to be extinguished by the rain.
"Da-Dam it..." Using all his strength he stood tall. Grabbing his staff from the hardened mud beneath him, he stared directly back at Neko's soulless eyes, the blue flame casting an ominous light onto him.
Vulsus's eyes locked onto Neko's cracked staff. Just as he did it lit up signifying another attack. Instantly Vulsus reacted darting into the air using flight magic, but the cast had homing magic imbued into causing it to follow.
