He represents the qualities of endurance, invincibility, and eternal legitimacy.
He is one of the few deities present in nearly all pantheons.
As the God of Time, Akatosh is responsible for maintaining the flow of time in Nirn. He is the most influential deity in the Divine Pantheon and the first to emerge among the Aedra following the world's formation.
As the creator and father of dragons, Akatosh granted them their language, the power of the Thu'um, and their connection to time. Dragons are immortal due to their relationship with him.
His influence is crucial in countering the Daedra and preventing them from directly interfering in Mundus.
During the Oblivion Crisis, Akatosh's Avatar was summoned after the Hero of Kvatch and Martin Septim failed to relight the Dragonfires in time before Mehrunes Dagon entered Nirn. Martin sacrificed himself and the Amulet of Kings to invoke Akatosh's Avatar. The Avatar fought Mehrunes Dagon in the ruins of the Temple of the One in the Imperial City. [Lorkhan]
Lorkhan, also known as the Doom Drum, is the Elven name for the Lost God, also referred to as Shor. He is a primordial deity whose influence is deeply intertwined with the creation of the mortal world, Nirn, and the conflicts that arose from its conception.
Lorkhan is the central figure behind the creation of Mundus, the mortal plane.
Lorkhan proposed the creation of a world to the other et'Ada, where beings would exist to worship them as gods. The Daedra ignored him and each went to their own planes to rule, but the Aedra listened and assisted in his plan.
Unbeknownst to them, as the et'Ada created Mundus, their divinity gradually faded until it disappeared entirely. Upon realizing Lorkhan's deception, some decided to punish him.
At the Adamantine Tower, a fierce battle occurred, during which Trinimac tore out Lorkhan's heart. They attempted to destroy it, but because Mundus was a part of him and he was a part of Mundus, it was impossible to destroy one without destroying the other. Thus, Auri-El bound the heart to an arrow and shot it into the mortal plane.
Magnus, the Architect of Mundus, after punishing Lorkhan, fled to Aetherius with his followers. However, other et'Ada remained to finish Mundus; some vanished, and others remained as the Divines.
It is also believed by some that Nirn's moons, Masser and Secunda, are the two halves of Lorkhan's "flesh-divinity," cleaved in two
It is presumed that Lorkhan either died or disappeared entirely from all planes.

If you're wondering why I didn't include Talos, it's because he was not an et'Ada, nor is he an Aedra or Daedra, so he is excluded.
