"Hear me out Victoria. If we were to secretly get inside the Great Church we might be able to learn more info than the tip we received from boss." Sam determine to convince Victoria.
Sadly Victoria gets up from her bench, as the words that came from Sam's mouth entered one ear than came out the other ear.
She walks leaving Sam flabbergasted, thinking to hearself about the types of foods in the Mercian Kingdom.
'The Great Church of the Mercian Kingdom which is led by a priest named Mexi. It has become strong, though there has been missing reports since he took over this church and Kingdom. So we are here to find out what it is.' None the less he continues to be determined.
At the same time inside Mexi's secret underground room. The scientist Mexi spoke to is review some paperwork at his table. A short looking scientist approach him to say.
"Sir Paul sorry to disturb you when you are still so busy. Though is it fine for you to indulge my question?"
"It's okay." Paul replies the scientist while still review his paperwork.
"Sigh. Sir I would like to know what is the point of remove this people's blood and heart from their body's and adding it inside that green crystal?" The scientist thinks Paul might kill him for asking that question seeing Paul has stopped review his paperwork.
"How did you become a qualified scientist?" Paul puts his pen by his side of the table to add. "As you know oh I mean as you will know..." He giggles make the scientist feel stupid. "... Magic occupies 3 places where it's concentrated. Those places are the heart, blood and brain. But remember in order to posses magic you need a core, so tell me where do you think the core is located?"
"Huh? From a book I once read it should be closer to the heart."
"Bingo!" Clapping his hands. "Because of that the heart should have an extra amount of of magic energy (or ki ). Now your probably wondering asking yourself what about the blood? Well just like everything in the universe has an order on how it works. So does magic." The other scientist in the room begin to write notes.
"In order for someone to use magic…the blood has to transfer the ki from their core to the place or point where the person wishes to manifest their magic." The scientist try to ask Paul a question but he sees Paul raise his finger to keep him quite.
"So if someone were to run out of ki from their core than they still have their heart that posses extra ki and the blood will help transport that extra ki." The scientist notice the expression of joy on Paul's face. He remind Paul about the question he had asked him before.
"Before I could answer your question bring me some water." One of the scientist give Paul the glass of water. He drinks the water and proceed to give back the glass to the scientist.
"What father Mexi plans to do is theoretically extaract the ki from those people's blood and heart after they die. The next step is condensing that ki into that crystal than ingest the ki directly into his heart to evolve his magic and core. He apparently also wants to archive purity." He begin's to go back to review his paperwork.
The scientist had more questions however he knew if he were to ask more, than he would surely die right here right now.
