"They are some injured civilians we found on the way. You guys need to do your job better." Katarina said in a carefree tone and Cynthia froze for a seconds but the guards seemed to accept it and after little bit of questioning, they finally entered the safe zone.
"Miss Cynthia," Katarina called out to her.
"What is it?"
"Why didn't you just tell them your position as a knight? It would have been smoother that way.
"Ah." Cynthia forgot because she was too busy panicking about harbouring a criminal to think properly.
"Anyways, this makes... five down. The only ones left are the boss and the one Reginald and Adeius are fighting." Katarina said as they settled down.
"Is he going to win? That Reginald person." Cynthia asked.
"Nope. Which is why I asked for a certain someone to join if he was free. Bet they should be wrapping up their battle anytime soon."
