"The binding magic from that night? It was something your mother placed." Ray's father said nonchalantly as Ray sat with his mouth wide open.
"Then why would she activate it?" He questioned.
"Eh? Wasn't it obvious? It was because you would come charging into the flames. You would not have been able to break the barrier and you exposing yourself as our son would only have placed you in more danger." His father said with a look that said wasn't it obvious?
"But..." Of course, Rya knew that the outcome would still have been the same hard he gone out but it was something more important than the result.
