"The same that's up with everyone's; except a little bit more durable." I rotated my shoulders to get rid of the stiffness I felt after the healing and adjusted my stance.
Since he didn't go for my head or heart, I assume there was a limit to how long he could stop time.
Stuff like that seemed to be the con of using tine stop magic. They often appeared in movies and stuff.
My head and heart are the places I trained in order to be able to defend against any attacks. Just because time was stopped doesn't necessary mean he would be able to penetrate my defenses.
Which means I can carry out the plan.
"Here I come!" Using the same strategy like last time, I charged at him and waved my hand, literally slapping air at him and followed up with a punch.
Like the previous attempt, both attacks stopped right before reaching him and he extended a hand to me but this time, I was able to react.
I faced him and brought my hand towards him faster and gently grabbed his hand.
Like I thought, he wasn't able to use his defensive technique while he was attacking!
Tugging him slightly, I rotated my arms and smiled in satisfaction as something, that being his bones, cracked and I gave it one last crush before letting go.
"Oww... That hurt." Reaper shook his hands and a white light covered it and it was as good as new.
"Time reversal?" I asked and began hopping lightly to loosen up my body.
"Bingo." He replied.
"Time manipulation is still difficult to deal with so I guess I'll just do something about that defensive technique of yours." I was about to rush forward but stopped as I remembered something.
"Now that I think of it, we never finished repairing that crack in the city."
"What are you talking about?"
"Nothing important." I raised my fist but this time, I let my mana flow around it and a pale green light appeared in the surface.
"Healing magic?" I didn't let him continue his train of thought and I rushed at him and punched at the barrier.
My fists managed to get a little bit closer to him and I retracted it and faster than he could react, I shot out my fists like bullets from a machine gun and repeatedly punched at the barrier making progress little by little until I finally docked him in the jaw ina split second.
"What was that?" As expected of fighting someone with time magic, he just rewound time and was as good as new except for the frown on his face.
"Just a little something." Healing magic has little offensive power and mine has even less that the average person.
Still, I didn't need it to do damage but for my physical attacks to reach him.
Katarina applied the ability for my healing type mana to be able to affect space earlier so what I just did was replicate the effect and used it to negate his space warping effect.
It consumed an insane amount of energy even for me and I doubt I could keep up this state for long.
Probably about thirty minutes give or take.
"Is it done?" I called out to a certain someone hidden in the area.
"Yeah. I expect a complete victory." A pair of gauntlets appeared above me and I grabbed them and felt a mysterious force enter my body.
This was similar to the one she used earlier and knew that the spatial attribute had been added to my attack.
"Let's do this one more time." I leveled my fists at the Reaper and charged him again.
...
I swung my right hand and hit the Reaper in his chest and felt the ever satisfying crunch of ribs cracking as the force sent him sprawling to the ground.
I raised my hand to hit him again when my surroundings suddenly changed and I found myself back in my original position with him unharmed.
"Time rewound. He can rewound time by small amounts in this space." A calm voice rang in my ears and I frowned.
While this ability seemed to be limited in the fact that it could only work in this space, it effectively negated my attacks until he ran out of mana.
"Can you crack it?" I asked her under my breath as the Reaper closed in on me and I blocked an jab from him with Mya RMS crossed in front of me.
"Five minutes." Was the response I received.
"Okay!" I kicked the Reaper backwards and felt a light touch and my leg from my knee downwards dropped to the ground and I hissed in pain as the Reaper came at me again.
Using my distorted sense of balance, I collapsed to the ground and picked up my leg and felt the pain recede slightly as I reattached it with my magic.
I kept my hand on my leg still healing it as I looked at the Reaper who charged again faster than the eyes could follow.
Not relying on sight, I dodged an attack and a fracture in space whizzed over my head as a well aimed kick landed in my back and sent me into the air.
And like before, some of my limbs dropped to the ground. This time, it was my left arm and left leg and I wobbly landed on my remaining legs and extended strands of mana to grab my body parts as I dodged the next attack the Reaper launched.
But I've finally figured out the principles behind his time stop.
He needs to make active contact with someone in order to stop their time. For a long range fighter, they could just slam him with attacks but that wasn't the case for me.
"In that case...!" I jumped into the air and concentrated my power and punched at the air and sent columns of it shooting at him.
The attack vanished and I barely had time to blink before I felt something hit my back and I hit the ground even faster than I rose into the air.
"He can teleport attacks too?" I heard a voice fiil of incredulity and realised it was my voice as I stood up with my automatic healing kicking in.
Automatic healing, aka auto heal, didn't work in regrowth of limbs or missing body parts. It only worked on repairing damage and regrowth was beyond it.
I could regrow a limb but that would take too much time a as had to worry about cell growth, size, stability and a lot of other annoying stuff.
Even in a fantasy world, you can't seem to discard the science.
I really should optimise auto heal after this fight.
Now what do I do?
