Chapter 81 - The fate of female internet celebritie

After shutting down my computer, I got up and followed Er Pang to the sixth floor.

"Little Bottle, I heard you used to work under that bitch Yu Jie. You must have a deep grudge against her, right?"

As we reached the stairs, Er Pang sidled up to me and whispered mysteriously.

"It's a long story."

I understood that he wanted to use me to eliminate Yu Jie, a potential threat.

"How about we cooperate?"

He didn't beat around the bush and got straight to the point.

He must have noticed my recent rise in popularity and wanted to kill two birds with one stone.

"How do we cooperate? You should show me some sincerity first,"

I shrugged nonchalantly. "She can't do anything to me at KK Park."

"If she becomes a supervisor and gets close to Liu Shiyi, do you think your life will be easy?"

I raised an eyebrow and pretended to be indifferent. "Relax. Don't you know I have Professor Ace backing me up? Besides, Liu Shiyi doesn't like her!"

Seeing that I wasn't biting, Er Pang thought for a moment and then said, "Okay, Little Bottle... just tell me who you want to get rid of. I can't guess it."

He added, "Is it Ba Yi?"

I put my hand on his shoulder and squeezed lightly, speaking coldly, "Why would I target Ba Yi? He and I are working together on the overseas market. I'm more than happy. If you dare mess with Ba Yi and affect the overseas market, Liu Shiyi will be the first to kill you!"

Using only half my strength was enough to make him shiver.

Er Pang's face changed immediately, but he quickly forced a smile and said, "I get it. You want to deal with those two lesbians, Lacey and Lassi!"

"I didn't say that, you did."

I released him, laughing as I continued up the stairs.

"I said it, I said it. So, we've happily decided, right? Hehe."

Er Pang grinned, quickening his pace to keep up.

Who would want to happily decide with you? If you take the initiative to deal with them, that's just what I want.

I sneered inwardly as I stopped at the door of the first studio on the 6th floor.

[Live Streaming Room]

The red and black sign made me feel like I was standing at the door of a domestic internet celebrity's house.

Even though I hadn't been involved in this, if you thought this was a proper live streaming room, you'd be gravely mistaken.

As soon as Er Pang pushed the door open, I was greeted by various obscene scenes that would make any man's nose bleed.

The room, about seventy or eighty square meters, had all its windows nailed shut and covered with blackout curtains.

In the corners, five or six thugs holding AK-47s and electric batons stood watch.

The room was filled with high-end equipment for live streaming and video recording.

Around the room, stylists, makeup artists, and costume designers were busy transforming the girls to cater to different client preferences.

One naked girl was chatting while performing indescribable acts, making the old man on the other end of the video call eager and anxious to send money.

The others were doing similar things—nude chatting for money.

Or they were dressed in flight attendant, nurse, or maid outfits, giving the clients a visual shock that made them fall head over heels.

Most of these clients were from scam operations, such as gambling and overseas investment schemes.

Since I was a man and not a professional nude chat performer, the person in charge of the studio had a girl dressed in a maid outfit, with a hundred-level beauty filter on, video chat with the rich guy from Korea.

These chat routines were all similar: satisfy the client's desires, perform various seductive acts, and then go offline at the right moment, playing hard to get.

Finally, we would log in to close the deal.

The women involved in these nude chats included some minor internet celebrities from back home.

They were lured here under three main circumstances.

First, some internet celebrity caught the eye of a snakehead (human trafficker), who would have someone pose as a big spender and shower her with gifts. Once they got familiar, they'd arrange an offline meeting. The internet celebrity, driven by greed, would readily agree to meet. But tragedy struck during the meal when she'd drink something the trafficker offered and lose consciousness, only to wake up in Northern Myanmar.

Second, situations like the recently notorious "Athena" case. Friends or relatives would pretend to have a breakup or be in a great mood and invite you on a trip abroad. And then, there'd be no "then."

Third, which is quite common, your "boyfriend" would bring you to Northern Myanmar to make money.

Of course, many women came here voluntarily to make a fortune, only to end up losing their lives instead.

Had they known the evil here, they wouldn't have dared to come, hoping for riches.

For instance, the recent internet celebrities pretending to be descendants of the Expeditionary Army in Myanmar, like Li Saigao, Mr. Jun, and Jia Run, were actually puppets groomed by the Henry Group for profit. If they disobeyed, they'd be beaten or killed.

To rise to the top, they'd even lure friends and family to be sacrificed to higher-ups.

After being exposed and losing their value, they've mostly disappeared.

Notably, the famous motorbike girl internet celebrity Yi Qing and a few other pretty internet celebrities like Sweet Ring were sold to a major warlord.

There was indeed a negotiation by the Chaoshan Chamber of Commerce to rescue them. The negotiations are ongoing.

However, the other party demanded outrageous terms, so absurd that they defied belief.

How do you negotiate? How do you save them?

It's all up to fate.

I can't go into more details here; it's sensitive. Let's just say they're alive, but the hope of rescuing them is very slim.

After all, reality doesn't have action heroes who can storm in and wipe everything out like in the movies.

This is Myawaddy; the warlords aren't short on money and have tanks and artillery. We can't realistically go to war…

Back to the point, due to the "Athena" scandal, the warlords decided to sell her off after getting tired of her.

The more famous she was, the more perverted clients would smuggle in to exploit her—ten thousand an hour, by appointment, serving ten clients a day…

The misery of these pretty internet celebrities is beyond words. Please imagine it; it shatters common perceptions.

The warlords wouldn't let them die easily. They'd treat them to keep them alive while squeezing every last penny out of them.

Kind-heartedly, I hope for an impossible miracle, that they can return home alive…

Ultimately, don't come to Northern Myanmar. China is safer. Coming here means losing value, and ending up as an untraceable corpse.

The process is a fate worse than death.

Just thinking about it makes one's scalp tingle.

There are snakeheads specializing in luring pretty "escort girls" here, which I will elaborate on in later plot developments.

Additionally, I've seen videos on Kuaishou showing the daily life in Northern Myanmar, with five or six young girls posing around.

Please be cautious and don't trust fake videos on Kuaishou and Douyin. Enjoy them for entertainment but don't believe them.

If you do, the next girl posing in the video might be you.

Then you'll be the one working day and night in the tea plantation with shackles and chains.

I know from my research that many of the women end up sold to these private tea plantations as female slaves.

So, those who understand, understand.

I'll also focus on the private tea plantations in Northern Myanmar later, including the notorious case of Shan Shan being sold to a local tycoon as a sex slave.
