Chapter 26 - "Cows"

### The Hellish Fate of the New Couple

The new couple clearly won't escape their brutal fate. Hearing the heart-wrenching screams from the dark room, I gritted my teeth in anger.

These bastards, why do they never face any consequences?

"Little Bottle, where have you been?" Sister Konglong, still shaken from the trauma, grabbed my sleeve and asked.

"We were burying bodies," I replied, turning my red-rimmed eyes towards the blood-stained ground outside the window.

Some cleaning "pigs" were washing away the blood, while the vicious dog that had eaten their genitals pranced around the playground. The dog, a massive mixed-breed foreign hound weighing at least 130 pounds and as tall as a twelve-year-old child when standing, barked menacingly at the cleaning pigs, who trembled in fear.

"It's horrible. I've made up my mind…" Sister Konglong said, wiping her tear-swollen eyes and deciding to join us in our escape plan.

I didn't respond, just silently watching the scene on the playground, my heart burning with rage.

"I hooked another fish. Here's the number. I don't want you to get beaten."

"Sister, if you give me the number, what about you?"

She was so kind to me, and I felt unworthy of her generosity.

"I have plenty of fish. I can always open another account. Do you think Sister Yu is really kind enough to let me stay in your dorm?"

I was speechless, staring at her in disbelief. She had deliberately avoided opening new accounts and was punished by being sent to our lower-class dormitory.

"Don't look at me like that. You'll make me misunderstand," she said, embarrassedly turning her head away.

"Sister, why go through all this? This is northern Myanmar, not a sales job back home," I sighed, feeling indebted to her.

"Little Bottle, as long as you call me Sister, I'll take care of you. Don't worry, I've got skills!" she assured me.

"Thank you, Sister!" I could only manage a "thank you," feeling overwhelmed with gratitude as I continued chatting with a gullible fool on QQ.

I told him I was a scammer, but he refused to believe it. He kept insisting on meeting up and even talked about getting married.

I was fuming, thinking he deserved to be scammed for being so naive.

In reality, Sister Konglong's sweet and soft voice made men feel protective and convinced them she was an adorable and gentle girl. Combined with carefully crafted photos and seductive videos, she easily lured money out of them or dragged them into elaborate scams until they lost everything.

At noon, when work ended, the new couple emerged from the dark room. The girl was bleeding, her face swollen, clothes in tatters, and her spirit broken. The boy, staggering and coughing up blood, looked like a soulless shell.

I felt deep sympathy for them but was powerless to help.

"Lock her up. She's a good specimen for breeding," Sister Yu sneered, eyeing the girl's full figure.

"Got it!" Brother Meng fastened his belt and, along with four henchmen, dragged the girl away.

The boy, seeing his beloved ravaged by monsters, suddenly screamed and ran towards the barbed wire fence, only to be thrown back and collapse on the ground.

"Bastards! You will all get what you deserve!" he cried out in agony, bloodied and weeping.

Despite his sorrow, he could only curse them as "bastards."

"Throw him into the water cell!" Sister Yu spat on him and turned to me.

"Sister Yu, can I take him back to the dorm? I promise to discipline him well. If he dies, we'll be short on our quota," I boldly requested, unable to bear his suffering.

Uncle Scar and Sister Konglong were terrified by my request, and others looked at me with expressions that said, "This piglet isn't afraid of the fierce Sister Yu."

"You want to save him?" Sister Yu kicked the boy again, glaring at me.

"I…"

I was at a loss for words. How could I save him when I couldn't even protect myself?

"Fine! Take him back, but you must close a deal worth at least 200,000 yuan by this afternoon, or both of you will be locked in the dog cage!" She stomped off in her high heels, swaying her hips.

I was stunned. A 200,000 yuan deal? How was I supposed to achieve that?

Determined, I helped carry the boy back to the dorm.

"Don't bother," Uncle Scar said, pulling me aside and, with Sister Konglong's help, carried the boy downstairs.

I followed them, feeling tears well up again at Uncle Scar's determined back.

"Little Bottle, let's get some food. Let Uncle Scar take him back to the dorm. We can't starve to death," Sister Konglong said, dragging me to the cafeteria.

We queued for the inedible food, knowing that the girl dragged away as a "breeder" would likely live a life worse than an animal. Once pregnant, her baby boys would be sold to warlords as child soldiers, and baby girls would be buried or sold for unspeakable purposes.

After giving birth, their milk would be sold to local rich people or cosmetic factories, exploiting every last drop.

The bastards here lived off human suffering, showing no respect for morality or karma.

After drinking a bowl of somewhat fresh cabbage soup, we hid the hard buns to bring back to the dorm.

Despite the so-called "humane" working hours in the fraud park, from 9 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 6 PM, with evenings off, special cases involving big scams or online gambling often required overtime.
