The floating isles of Zephyria play host to a cast of characters as irreverent as the galeways they navigate. Behold: The Gusty Gem, a patchwork airship held together by an aged rigging and a mismatched quilt for a balloon.
At the helm (or in his chair) is Captain Barnabus Boulderbeard, a skydwarf with more billowing brown hair than experience leading a crew (note: Barnabus only has red hair). His crew is a delightful menagerie of misfits who keep coming back for more: Amafrey, the effervescent adventurer with a spirit guide and narcissists for parents; Lireal, the celestiamancer whose command of celestial energy is used almost exclusively to torture the Captain; Larry, humanity's mistakes coalesced into one weepy 'wizard' who has a hiccup or three in his delivery--but not to worry--he'll always try to fix it himself, just in case you thought anything good was gonna' happen today. Finally, we have Slimmy: an enigmatic, feydust-fueled jester whose quips and quirks are never going to lead to a satisfactory character arc, but hey! If he won't listen to the author, he can just keep hallucinating his way through life!
As they navigate the perils of Zephyria and each other, the crew must contend with challenges that range from the professional (deciphering Lireal's navigation jargon) to the meta (exorcising a possessed toy airship). Their misadventures are a testament to the power of friendship, quick wit, and my Vyvanse kicking in.
