Prince Lucius.
A prince with an athletic tall stature, blonde hair, sky-blue eyes, and a firm jawline. He was the crown prince of the Kingdom of Clover. Despite his striking appearance, he was infamous for his cold, rough, and arrogant demeanor.
He avoided interactions with commoners, yet many loyalists of the royal family ignored his behavior, perhaps understanding the changes in the once strong and brave prince.
Indeed.
Following the passing of his brother, Prince Lysander, Lucius withdrew into solitude, locking himself in his room. However, this isolation did not endure for long. After a week of isolating himself, emerging only when the servants forcibly opened his door to feed him or allow him to bathe, Prince Lucius became increasingly irritable over trivial matters. He scolded his servants and held back tears whenever he crossed paths with Kain. The memory of his brother's desperate cries for help, filled with pain, plagued him every time he saw Kain shouting for him to snap out of his reverie.
He continued to blame himself... until he encountered the main female character.

"Lysander! I heard you have a talent for water magic?! That's incredible!" Prince Lucius's voice, sounding like that of a 9-year-old, reverberated loudly through the expansive castle corridors. Rina respectfully bowed to Prince Lucius, maintaining an appropriate distance as one of his servants.
"Yeah, that's right, Brother. I'm curious about how your first training session went?"
Prince Lysander replied nonchalantly to the person who would be the main reason for his absence for the next four years. Is this what it feels like to talk to a criminal when working as a police officer or prosecutor, struggling when they arrest someone who is clearly guilty but lacks evidence?
"Hahaha! My first training session was actually quite boring! You know, I just decided to control fire and I could do it right away! Oh, even with earth magic too!" Prince Lucius proudly responded.
Hearing his tone that seemed to seek praise or attention, Prince Lysander, understanding the cue, immediately showered him with exaggerated praise. "Wow! My brother is truly gifted! Not only cool, but also adept at controlling magic!"
Although I sometimes feel proud of my sister that time, I have never showered her with excessive praise like this. But when I hear my voice sounding like a desperate door-to-door salesman trying to find customers, I have no choice but to do this so that at least he will truly regret it if he recklessly controls his magic...
Wait...
'What if I just - '
Prince Lysander's body trembled violently from head to toe, interrupting Prince Lucius as he recounted his first day of magic training.
"Lysander? Are you okay?"
"Your Highness? Would you like to rest now as Lord Kain suggested?" Rina approached Prince Lysander, who smiled thinly at both of them.
"Thank you for your concern, both of you. I'm sorry, Lucius. It seems I should go back to my room to rest. It feels like just yesterday when I exerted all my strength to utilize my magical abilities," Prince Lysander expressed with a weary face. Prince Lucius gazed at him with sympathy, "Lysander, what are you doing here? Hurry back to your room and rest! Until next time, alright?"
Prince Lucius quickly departed with his attendants. Once they were out of sight of Prince Lysander and Rina—
"Should we head back to the room, sir?" Rina inquired, studying Prince Lysander's retreating figure.
"No, let's find the library quickly before I encounter him again," Prince Lysander responded hastily and with irritation. Rina observed as Prince Lysander promptly turned and increased his pace.
Despite his small steps, Prince Lysander managed to overtake Rina by a considerable distance in a rather peculiar manner.
"Waㅡwait for me, Your Highness!" Rina called out to Prince Lysander as she chased after him with a half-run. After memorizing the direction to the library, not too far from where he encountered Prince Lucius, Prince Lysander passed through a door ten times taller than him, revealing shelves filled with books that stretched up to the ceiling.
"Rina," Prince Lysander called out, his gaze fixed on the books on the high shelves.
"What is it, Your Highness?" Rina inquired, bending towards Prince Lysander's back.
"You should wait outside. If you see Prince Lucius or anyone, inform me immediately. Then, we will leave quickly. Understood?" Prince Lysander requested without turning his head. Rina nodded in understanding, "Yes, Your Highness, I understand."
After hearing the door close behind him, Prince Lysander refocused his gaze on each bookshelf in the library before releasing a long sigh. "Now, where to begin?" he whispered, more to himself, as he ventured towards the closest bookshelf.
In the Seasonal Magical Love game, the setting is a medieval fantasy world with occasional events that have an Asian flair. Grabbing a thick volume at random, I realized that the current king in the game is undoubtedly Lucius's father.
Ah, he is also my father.
Both of us were born of the same mother, as it appears the king had no concubines. From the records of Clover's history, it seems that the king in this realm is extremely loyal and has only one wife, the queen, with no concubines.
Observing my mother, who was also part of an arranged marriage with the wealthy Duke's family... this means that Lucius as well.. Oh, I forgot... despite being engaged, he ultimately chooses the main character, whether it leads to a happy ending or a bad one.
You can imagine, Lucius's betrothed must be a stunning Duke's daughter with naturally red hair styled in swirling coils like a cyclone.
And oh, do not be surprised to find that she is the story's antagonist and the main character's primary enemy in their romance... yet, her character is not crucial, as even if it results in a bad outcome, Lucius will still select the main character, a commoner... though there's a twist, as the main character falls ill due to a curse, a tale I will share later...
Huh? Am I supposed to save the antagonist character too, who is simply a girl jealous because her love was taken by a more suitable girl?
No... really? She didn't end up dying even though she couldn't be with the man she loved since she was engaged to him, meaning the man is Lucius.
To my knowledge, she was simply exiled by her family to a noble family on the outskirts who was willing to marry her off to their son, who is only on par with a baron (and he's not the main male character, okay?)
Aside from that, as I observed the map reflecting the game's background, it features an academy, a death valley with demon kingdoms and monsters, dungeons ideal for magic training, and more, which somewhat eases my mind.
At least for now, but a new main event will kick off at the Academy soon.
However, I am still uncertain whether I will survive until that moment arrives. Therefore, I should reconsider it later.
