Mike had been watching the whole show all this while, it was as if her powers itself made him enthrall to the scene.
He watched in awe as lily manipulated the knife with her powers, seeing the blade twirling and spinning in the air, to mike; that was something worth celebrating.
The fact was, it was not like they weren't people like her they where, only that they where usually scarce to see in town or around and now he was literally standing before one, but still yet that wasn't what caught his attention the most.
Lily's curly brown hair, with her warm smile, especially when she simpered at the floating knife; just made her more luscious and attractive to mike.
Her dark-skin emanated gorgeously, adding to the layer of romance to the scene.
Although, all this imaginations where spilling from mike's dirty thoughts as he was carried away with her beauty.
'wow, this is out of the world, I mean, swirling and spinning a knife in the air is just so lit and cool. But dude, face it, she's damn pretty! Ush…' he sighed in his thoughts, as he glanced in admiration, blushing slightly.
'Alright, alright, alright mike, you have to talk to her, this is your moment, you got this. Just play smart, don't be dumb, don't freak out. And most importantly, tell her you like her. Alright, got it!'
His anonymous thoughts that always seems to be arguing with him urge him to move to lily.
Mike muse to himself as he glared at lily, still admiring her beauty.
'What the hell are you still looking at you dummy? Shit! What's wrong with you? Can you just go there and say something appealing? Dumb!' his annoymous thought roused on him.
"That's really cool!" Mike exclaimed, exerting the word like it had been lip sealed in his thoughts and a hint of feign quivered in his words.
He had finally found out something to say.
Lily's eyes widened, as she caught off guard by the compliment from the person that just spoke.
She actually didn't know someone had been watching her tricks.
"Thanks," she said, blushing slightly as she realized that it was mike–the stranger she melt at Jonas house since she came.
A small smile played on her lips, and she continued to manipulate the knife.
Although, she was getting lost in the moment. She was quite surprised on how she had yet, still manage on maintaining her concentration, even after seeing Mr. Handsome here.
But just as Mike was about to speak again, the knife suddenly dropped to the ground with a loud clatter.
Obviously, she was losing concentration at this point, as she kept having multiple thought on why mike was here, or to be precisely; why mike had been stalking at her.
Her face flushed red, and she quickly turned to look at mike, who was yet still standing, smiling and glaring at her, seemingly not show interest on the knife that had fell.
"Sorry," she mumbled, embarrassed, perhaps, she got too flushed with the praises from mike or something otherwise.
But she couldn't help it, but to imagine why he was smiling and admiring her.
She thought that she had crumble his reasons for being there, as he kept smiling at the knife that was swirling around in the air.
But looking at his handsome face, still smiling, he seems to have had other reasons why he was there.
'Even though it was normal, for him to have still stand there, after i had accidentally spoiled the knife-trick that i was playing with; smiling in a weirdly way plus his eyes that seems to be admiring me was indubitably another show of it own, right?'
lily pounder as she seems to be reading mike's thought, which of course, she was quite predicting correctly.
'Obviously, it wasn't just the magic show; If at all it was, at first.' she concluded as she gave him a wry smile.
Mike giving no hint to the incident of the knife, sat down next to her, their shoulders almost touching each other.
"Nah! Don't be sorry, we all make mistakes, besides you where cool with it, and that's something worth celebrating you know" mike said, winking at her, as he attempt to sit properly.
The place they sat on in the garage, was actually taut, it was a small ply wooden bench. So it was quite norm for their shoulders to touch each other while sitting.
"Hey," mike said, his voice soft and fretful, as he glance at lily brownish pupils; who had been waiting for the 'Next to happen' in her imagination.
"I never officially introduced myself. I'm Mike." He held out his hand, waiting for her to shake it.
Lily hesitated for a moment, as she seems to ween towards the reason why mike was suddenly introducing himself today. It not like he was seeing her for the first time.
'it been days since we melt, and suddenly he's here with a handshake?…really? It quite fascinating anyway' she pounder as she reached out to take his hand, her grip slightly shaky.
"I'm Lily," she said, her voice barely above a whisper, as she try to actuate herself to the moment to prevent any abnormal scene.
She was a bit solicitous herself, about the whole thing, but she was just trying to appear normal.
A moment of awkward silence passed between them, as both of their eyes lurked at each other.
After some few seconds, it seems as if the spell that bound them obscenely, let lose of them, and they turned their eyes else where, from each other, dancing at their corners as if they where looking for something with it.
They couldn't really face each other, as both of them seemed to be maladroit in making a fun time or conversation.
'Dummy! You should be asking important questions at this point and stop behaving like a kid dude!' his annoymous thought impelled at him again.
After some fremd moment perform by them, mike attempt to speak again as his annoymous thought had suggested.
"So….. umm, have you been in adventure before, like umm…. traveling to the mountains or something?" He asked with a impresonate deep voice, hoping to lighten the mood between them.
'What! Gosh, that's silly!'
'Whatever, I'm trying best dude!' mike retorted as he glanced at lily waiting for reply.
"Humm, not really, I haven't been to an adventure, I guess this is actually going to be my first time" lily replied with a chuckling.
"Yeah, probably!" Mike exclaimed, with a smile, as he downcast his face from glaring at her, he thought he was being too catchy with the look.
The thought of what 'next to say' was an impediment consensus to him now, as his annoymous thought seemed to be quiet.
Fact was that, he was terrible at things like this. He had once tried to date a girl once in his school, but it didn't work out, probably because they weren't getting along as they ought to.
Another time, some of his friends arranged a blind date for him, still yet. It didn't work out. And now, he felt like he was sitting with an angel and now he was about messing up!
He probably wouldn't want to make those previous mistakes that ended all his relationship repeat itself again.
Another thing, was that, lily wasn't even in relationships with him, plus he wasn't even sure if he would be able to make it (relationship) work out either.
He can't even address her or maintain focus or better still, just tell her the plain fact.
However, this was the first time he was dating or rather, about trying to date a super human, perhaps, there could be a relative connature between them and humans in terms of relationship or something.
He started to speak again, but this time with low voice and intimate, he felt he raised his voice the first time, which maybe, girls don't like according to him.
But before he could continue, a figure approached from the corner of lily's eye.
