Vulcan's POV
If I were thinking straight, I'd realize exactly what document Papi was talking about. The important one—the reason I got married in the first place. It was my inheritance, and Ciara could make or break it.
But where do I find her? I can't go back without her. What do I tell Papi? That I went to fuck Eleanor and lost my wife?
Bullshit! He'd hand everything we've worked for over to a total stranger. Papi had warned me enough times. And worse, he adored Ciara and would disown me if I admitted she was missing.
I jolted out of bed and slipped into my shoes, barely bothering to tie my robe before storming outside.
When I got downstairs, it was late, and everyone was busy. I approached the desk clerk.
"Call the manager," I ordered, not expecting her to waste any time.
