Kaito and Kokabiel flew through the night sky, their figures moving rapidly as they clashed above the Gremory mansion. The strong wind cut through the air around them, their intense presences dominating the scene.
"Kokabiel!" Kaito shouted, raising his hand as a green aura glowed around his fingers. "I'll show you the true power of a Devil!"
WHOOOSH!
A gust of wind formed, swirling in fierce spirals as it moved toward the fallen angel. The force of the wind magic made the air tremble, creating a loud sound that resonated through the night.
Kokabiel just laughed, his black wings beating powerfully as he dodged the gust. "Is that all you've got? Your attack did nothing to me. Are you even trying?"
Kaito narrowed his eyes, his expression hardening as he flew quickly, positioning himself behind Kokabiel in the blink of an eye. Without giving the fallen angel a chance to react, he grabbed Kokabiel's black wings, holding them firmly.
Kokabiel's eyes widened, feeling the grip on his wings. "What are you doing?!" he shouted, trying to break free, but Kaito didn't give him any room.
"You'll pay in the name of God, Kokabiel!" Xenovia's voice echoed through the ruins as she approached, her expression determined.
Kokabiel laughed with disdain. "God? You still believe in that? God died along with Lucifer in the war."
Xenovia's eyes widened, surprised and confused by the fallen angel's words. "What...? You're lying!"
Kokabiel chuckled weakly, shaking his head. "You should know the truth... But keep believing that lie if it gives you strength."
Rias and Akeno, watching the battle from afar, felt a chill run through their bodies upon hearing Kokabiel's revelation. Rias took a deep breath, trying to stay calm, but the shock was evident on her face.
Kaito looked at Kokabiel coldly. "About the God of the Bible, I don't know... but I'll introduce you to the power of the God of war."
With a menacing gleam in his eyes, Kaito activated the power he had gained from defeating Ares. While firmly holding Kokabiel's wings, the reality around them began to distort, and the scene around them changed drastically. Kokabiel tried to resist, but it was in vain. In the blink of an eye, they were in a different environment.
SHUUUUM!
In an instant, Kaito and Kokabiel disappeared from the sky above the mansion and materialized in a completely different place. Around them, the ruins of the Roman Colosseum rose, the environment laden with the aura of war.
Kokabiel looked around, clearly confused. "Where is this? Did you bring me to Italy?"
Kaito smiled coldly, releasing Kokabiel's wings and allowing him to regain his balance in the air. "No, we're still in Japan. This is my alternate dimension, the Domain of the God of War. And you're in deep trouble."
Kokabiel narrowed his eyes, feeling the intensity of the atmosphere around him, his initial confidence wavering for a moment. He knew Kaito was serious, and the place around them seemed to resonate with an unknown power, something he couldn't ignore.
Kokabiel let out a nervous laugh, beating his black wings strongly as he prepared for combat. "So, little Devil, you think you can defeat me here? This dimension of yours won't change anything!"
Kaito stared at him, his expression cold and calculating. "I'll finish you off here, Kokabiel. There's nowhere to run."
Kokabiel hurled a spear of light toward Kaito, its intense glow illuminating the area. "We'll see if you can survive this, Devil!"
WHOOOSH!
"You're underestimating what I can do." Kaito dodged nimbly, his translucent wings beating strongly as he launched himself to the side, escaping the attack.
"Let's see what you think of this." Kaito removed a ring from his finger and threw it toward Kokabiel.
Midway, the ring transformed into a spear, slicing through the air toward the fallen angel.
Kokabiel dodged quickly. "Tsk, wasting your weapon? What an idiot!" Kokabiel sneered, a smirk of scorn on his face.
Kaito gave a faint smile, his eyes fixed on Kokabiel.
Kokabiel raised his hand to launch another spear of light at Kaito. "I'll finish you off now, little Devil!"
SHING!
Kaito's spear returned quickly, slicing Kokabiel's hand before he could attack.
"ARGH! What the hell is this?! Damn it, my hand!" Kokabiel screamed, clutching his injured arm, the pain evident on his face.
Kaito retrieved the spear smoothly, his expression unwavering. "I can control the spear with my mind, baka."
Kokabiel was furious, his face contorted in a pure rage. "You'll regret this, Devil!" He roared, his cry echoing through the dimension as his wings beat with such force that the air around seemed to vibrate.
Kokabiel raised his remaining hand, invoking a large magic circle above his head. "I'll crush you! I'll destroy everything around you!" He began concentrating a massive amount of energy, and a gigantic sphere of light formed in the magic circle, rapidly growing.
Kaito narrowed his eyes, sensing the imminent danger. "Do you really think you can intimidate me with a trick like that?"
Kokabiel, now completely consumed by fury, screamed as he hurled the sphere of light toward Kaito. "DIE, DEVIL!"
At the last moment, Kaito swapped places with Kokabiel in the blink of an eye, using the power of his domain. Kokabiel's eyes widened, confused, as he saw his own sphere of light coming toward him.
"What?!" Kokabiel screamed, his expression of surprise and fear evident as the sphere of light hit him head-on.
Kaito watched from afar, his expression cold. "This is my domain. Did you really think it would be that easy to hit me?"
BOOOM!
The sphere of light collided with Kokabiel, causing a devastating explosion. The impact threw Kokabiel back, his body struck by the energy he himself had conjured. Although not severely injured, the pain was evident on his face as he struggled to regain his composure.
Kokabiel, trembling with rage, got up with difficulty. His wings were damaged, and his breathing was heavy. "Damn it! This isn't over, Devil! I'll make you pay for this humiliation!"
Kaito merely shook his head, remaining calm as he watched the fallen angel. "You don't understand, Kokabiel. You've already lost. This fight was never yours."
Kokabiel, now consumed by rage and despair, raised his remaining hand again, his movements shaky and unstable, attempting to conjure another sphere of light. "I can still... finish you!"
Kaito advanced quickly, his wings beating as he approached Kokabiel. With a precise strike, he landed Vendetta on Kokabiel's hand, cutting it off and causing the magic circle to dissipate before the fallen angel could complete the spell.
"AARGH!" Kokabiel screamed in pain, his body weakening further. He fell to his knees, gasping as he looked at Kaito with pure hatred. "You... won't get away with this..."
Kaito stared at him coldly, raising Vendetta once more. "It's time to end this, Kokabiel. You don't deserve the mercy you've been given."
Kokabiel tried to stand, but his body was too weak. His gaze was empty, and his voice was faint. "I... am a leader of the Grigori... you... can't..."
Kaito paid no attention to the fallen angel's words. With a swift motion, he delivered the final blow, the spear Vendetta piercing through Kokabiel's chest, ending his life. Kokabiel let out one last breath, his body relaxing as the light in his eyes faded.
Kaito withdrew the spear, looking at the lifeless body of the fallen angel before closing his eyes for a moment, taking a deep breath. "It's over."
Kaito raised the spear Vendetta, its tip still covered with Kokabiel's blood. He looked around, the Colosseum he had created, a perfect replica of the ancient Roman amphitheater, was charged with the aura of war and conflict. But now that the battle was over, it was time to undo that scene.
Kaito closed his eyes, concentrating his magic as he raised his free hand. The energy around him began to transform, the atmosphere vibrating with his power. Gradually, the columns and walls of the Colosseum began to disintegrate, dissolving into particles of light that were blown away by the wind. The sound of stones and rubble disappearing echoed until nothing remained but the night sky and the ordinary ground.
SHUUUM!
Kaito slowly opened his eyes, watching the space around him return to its original state. The weight of the battle was still present on his shoulders, but he knew he had fulfilled his mission. Without wasting any more time, he beat his translucent fairy wings and began his flight back to the Gremory mansion.
As he approached the mansion, Kaito realized the situation wasn't looking good. The building, which was once imposing and full of elegance, was now in ruins. The walls were broken, windows shattered, and burn marks covered the entire structure. The energy of the battle that had occurred there was palpable, and Kaito's heart tightened upon seeing what had happened.
He landed amidst the rubble, his eyes scanning the area as he tried to find his allies. Ahead, he spotted the body of Cerberus, the enormous three-headed dog summoned by Kokabiel. Each of its heads had been severed, and the creature's blood spilled across the ground, creating a macabre and brutal scene. The smell of iron in the air was strong, and Kaito could feel the intensity of the battle that had taken place there.
"They did it..." Kaito murmured to himself, admiring the strength and determination of Rias and her group. Even against such a fierce enemy as Cerberus, they had managed to defeat it.
Kaito walked through the wreckage, searching for signs of life. Finally, he found Rias and Akeno beside the debris, both clearly exhausted but alive. Xenovia and Irina were nearby, equally worn out but with expressions of relief as they saw Kaito approaching.
