Chereads / Reincarnated as a Rimuru Tempest in MHA / Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Quirk Exam

Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Quirk Exam

"Tch, Deku and Tempest," Kacchan would say.

"Izumi, Rimuru, you passed," Uraraka would say.

"Hello, Uraraka. I see you passed too," Rimuru would say.

"Your movements were amazing, as well as your sister's. Your sister delivering that punch and you making those cuts with a wooden katana," Rimuru would say, mimicking punching and cutting motions with an imaginary katana.

Bakugo would remember cornering Izumi to confront her, and she stands her ground.

(This Deku shouldn't even be here. As if she's going to give me a fight) Bakugo would think, annoyed.

"I wonder if the ceremony will be held today," Uraraka would say, but is interrupted.

"Well, tell the caterpillar mom behind you, who's been there for about 2 minutes," Rimuru would say, confusing Uraraka and Izumi.

"Apparently, someone noticed my presence. Although I didn't like the caterpillar mom comment, so I'll take off 1 point," a giant caterpillar would say.

"You took 8 seconds to calm down. Kids lack common sense."

"He's the teacher, so he's also a professional hero?" Izumi would say.

"I'm your teacher. I'm Shota Aizawa. Nice to meet you. Put these on and go to the exit," Aizawa would say, showing the gym uniforms.

(The UA has a system where depending on the assigned teacher, they can fight) AM would think while reading a book.

"A quirk test?" the whole class would say.

"And when will the ceremony be?" Uraraka would ask.

"There's no time for that if you want to be a hero," the caterpillar mom would say.

"Bakugo, how far did you throw in middle school?" the caterpillar mom would ask.

"67 meters," Bakugo would say.

"Now try using your quirk. You can do whatever you want as long as you don't leave the circle. Don't hold back," Aizawa would say.

"SHINEE!" Bakugo would shout, throwing the ball and causing an explosion.

"As always, very explosive," Rimuru would say.

(Shinee?) Izumi would think.

"705.2 meters. This is a rational measure to prepare you to be heroes," Aizawa would say, showing the counter.

"Incredible. This will be a lot of fun."

"705 meters? That's unreal."

"Can we use our quirks? Just as expected from the hero department."

"Fun? So you wanted to spend your 3 years having a good time. What about becoming heroes? If that's the case, the last one remaining will be expelled," Aizawa would say, scaring the entire class except Rimuru.

With AM:

"So they really have Aizawa."

With Class 1-A:

"Sister, calm down. I know you'll do well," she would say, calming her sister.

"The last one will be expelled?! It's our first day and one of us will be expelled. It's not fair," Uraraka would say.

"Naturally occurring disasters, massive accidents, psychopathic villains. All sorts of things can happen when we least expect them, and our job as heroes is to contain everything and maintain logic. That was just a demonstration, so it's time to get into position. This is Plus Ultra."

50-meter test

[Rimuru: 2.5 seconds

Izumi: 7.02 seconds

Uraraka: 7.15 seconds

Bakugo: 4.3 seconds]

"Tempest, incredible, you managed to surpass me despite my quirk," Lida would say to Rimuru with a hint of annoyance that only Rimuru noticed.

(Is this Lida different from the canon?) Rimuru would ask.

Yunyun would say sympathetically.

(Me too, nothing surprises me anymore) Rimuru would think.

"It's nothing, just call me Rimuru," Rimuru would say to Lida calmly, further increasing Lida's annoyance, which Izumi would notice this time.

{By the way, Ranga, don't come out or let your pup come out in case the explosive affects Izumi while the professor is here} Rimuru would say to Ranga.

{Understood, master. I'll tell him now} Ranga would say.

Grip test

"Hey, teacher, it's broken," Rimuru would say to Aizawa, showing him the broken grip and surprising the whole class.

Long jump test

[Rimuru: 20 meters]

Side long jumps test

"I'm not going to do that," Rimuru would say, seeing residual images of Mineta.

Throwing test

"Go, go," Uraraka would say, activating her quirk on the ball.

"Infinite?" the whole class would say, amazed.

(This is bad, everyone has at least one good test, but I don't because I can't control my quirk) Izumi would think, worried.

"Do you want to have a good test?" Rimuru would say, seeing Izumi nod.

"Well, instead of concentrating your quirk in your arm, you should concentrate it in your finger when throwing the ball," Rimuru would say to Izumi.

"You're right, that might work and continue with the tests with the least damage possible, thanks," Izumi would say happily.

It's Izumi's turn.

"Midoriya isn't doing well, right?" Lida would say with a terrified face, not wanting Midoriya to be expelled.

"Of course not, she's quirkless," Bakugo would say.

"Quirkless? Didn't you see what she did in the entrance exam?" Lida would say, confused.

"Uh?" Bakugo would say, confused and annoyed.

"Shut up already, Kacchan. If your words were fireworks, we could celebrate New Year's every day with you around," Rimuru would say, making Uraraka laugh.

"WHAT DID YOU CALL ME, LAZY AFEMINATE?!" Bakugo would yell.

(Lazy?) Uraraka would think, considering what Rimuru called him.

"Who are you calling effeminate?" Rimuru would say with a smile, directing his aura only towards Bakugo.

"Tch," Bakugo would say, turning to see Izumi "fail" the test.

Izumi would focus OFA in her finger and throw the ball, but before she could, Aizawa would erase her quirk.

"46 meters," a robotic voice would say, confusing Izumi.

"I erased your quirk. From what I see, you can't handle your quirk, so you can't use it effectively. Do you think someone will come to save you after throwing a punch or a kick?" Aizawa would say to Izumi.

"No, I won't," Izumi would say but would be interrupted.

"Regardless of your intention, no one will be in a position to help you," Aizawa would say.

"I've restored your quirk. Throw the ball and let's finish this," Aizawa would say.

(Whatever she does, she has no potential. Whether she's persistent and doesn't get depressed, she should settle for last place) Aizawa would think.

Izumi would throw the ball with the tip of her finger, breaking her finger and sending the ball to a distance of 705.3 meters, surprising Aizawa.

"Sensei, I can still move," Izumi would say, closing her fist with her broken finger.

(This girl) Aizawa would think, surprised.

"Finally, you've got a good score, Izumi," Uraraka would say.

"The injury to her finger reminds me of the entrance exam," Lida would say.

"It's not very elegant."

"..." Bakugo would say.

(What the hell?! A quirk manifests at age 4) Bakugo would think, angry and shocked.

"What is this Deku? Explain it to me right now," he would shout, charging at Izumi.

But Aizawa would use his quirk and his bindings on Bakugo.

"I have dry eyes. Don't make me use my quirk," Aizawa would say.

"Is your finger okay?" Uraraka would ask, worried.

"Yes," Izumi would say.

"Alright now, Tempest," Aizawa would say, throwing a ball to him.

"Okay," Rimuru would say, taking the ball and throwing it into the air.

"937 meters," the robotic voice would say, astonishing the others.

"YOU!! Do you think this is a game? You've been holding back in all the tests; either use all your power or you'll be expelled because underestimating in a fight can cost you your life or the lives of innocents," Aizawa would say, binding Rimuru and shocking the class with the fact that he had been holding back in all the tests.
