"Would you like to be the CEO of the Fitzgerald Investigations?" Caleb asked as he opened the box of rings that was actually a badge that read, "The Investigation Head."
Crystal laughed through her visible tears. Caleb looked at her and smiled kindly, as she nodded.
"So happy to have you as a part of the family." Cassandra said.
The party roared into excitement as followed by music and dance. The cake was soon cut however not much of that was eaten given the time.
In a shadowed corner, Vivian was gazing at the stars. It was cold outside however she preferred to sit there outside the pomp and show.
"Mind if I join you?" a woman called out to her.
Vivian looked at her and smiled kindly, "Where is your ever so doting boyfriend?"
"Or I must say yours now?" The woman smiled kindly.
"No, no, please keep him, I have not seen Max since-" Vivian's eyes were red from crying, she wiped her tears as she realised, it has been a while.
