"Is there any problem or something I can help you with?" I asked him wondering why he was outside with me.
"Not really, I just wanted to see if you were okay because you just left." Xander replied with a pained expression.
"Alright, then." I said as I went back into the living room.
We all ate dinner which was grilled meat, salad, rice and vegetable sauce.
We had coconut candy, chocolate cake and orange juice for desert.
When we finished eating, everyone's stomach was filled up so we went upstairs and I decided to take my bath.
After taking my bath, I decided to listen to a calm music before sleeping.
Almost asleep, Steph came inside so I paused my song.
"What's up Steph? I rarely see you these days." I said as I removed my ear plugs.
"I have actually been occupied with my own stuff." Steph replied shortly with a smile but it didn't reach her eyes.
"Alright then," I replied deciding to drop the topic.

I woke up this morning, happier than usual.
I don't even know the reason.
As I went downstairs in my grey yoga pants and black hoodie with my hair packed up in a rough bun, I held my phone in my left hand and I wasn't surprised to see almost everybody downstairs because today is the last day of the sleep over and we will make it worth it.
"Morning," Santana said to me waving.
Not only me but everyone turned their eyes with surprise as they stare at Santana.
Maybe they want to be sure she was okay.
Obviously, everyone seem to know the beef between both of us.
I just nodded in reply but I still felt uneasy as I moved to sit on a couch but I caught Austin staring at me.
I stared back at him but he still continued staring.
I removed my gaze and focused on my phone.
As I was in the middle of chatting with one of my friends, I realized I haven't seen Xander so I raised my head and decided to search for him with my eyes but I felt a strand of my hair being pulled but not in a painful way.
I turned and it happened to be Xander.
"Hi,"he said with a smile on his face.
"Hey,"I replied mirroring his smile as he sat down on the couch beside me.
"So, hope your night was good."he said.
"Yeah, it was very much fine.
What about yours?" I replied him.
"It was short, I didn't want to wake up because I was dreaming about you."he replied with a grin.
Cheesey.
"Does that pickup line usually work on girls?" I asked in a mocking tone.
"What will I say, it's not a pickup line." he replied laughing but we were interrupted by Kelly who came with watermelon ,cut in small sizes, in two different plates and as I looked around, I noticed that almost everybody was eating their own share of watermelon.
"Do you guys care for?" Kelly asked with a smile.
"Nah, I don't like watermelon." I replied.
"And that's strange." Kelly and Xander echoed together.
"Well, don't Know what to say to that."I replied with a shrug.
"So, what about you Xander?" Kelly asked.
"Sure, I like watermelon but I don't feel like taking it right now but thanks for asking." Xander replied with his famous killer smile.
"Alright then, I will leave you two." Kelly replied and gave Xander a knowing look.
"You are kinda weird." Xander said as Kelly left the place.
"And why do you say that, is it because I don't like watermelon? I don't actually know my reason for not liking it though, I just think it tastes weird." I replied as I continued pressing her phone.
Actually, I'm addicted to my phone.
Well, most teenagers and youths are but if you ask me what I'm actually doing on it, I can't name any specific thing.
"Let's not even talk about your issue with watermelon, I noticed you have most of your clothes in black shade.
Wait, I guess your favourite colour is black." Xander said.
"Well, yeah and I know that is mostly common among boys but I feel hotter and sexier when I wear black." I replied because my skin tone is more noticeable when I put on dark clothes.
"That's you deceiving yourself because I find you hot and sexy in anything you wear.
I think I will still see you that way even if you are putting on a sac."Xander replied and I couldn't control my laughter so I let it out.
"Whatever makes you sleep at night."I replied still laughing.
"So, let's talk about something else."
"Ofcourse."I replied as I straightened my back.
"Who is taking you home?" He asked.
"Ummmm,I'm not sure but I guess I will just go with Steph." I replied.
"Can't I take you?" He asked.
"I don't think that is necessary." I replied.
"Alright, I won't push it then." Xander said then we talked about other things then I later left the living room because I was kinda tired but the remembrance that Jayden is coming back today brought a smile on my face.
I really can't wait for him to get back, I have missed him so much.
"Why that smile?" Xander said as he joins me outside.
"Nothing really, I'm just very happy.
Guess I miss home a lot and I'm happy I'm going back soon."I lied.
Don't get me wrong, I actually kinda miss my home but the main reason for my smile was the return of Jayden and I don't want to bring that up because I'm trying as much as possible to avoid Xander's feelings and talking about Jayden with him will only hurt him and I'm trying to avoid that.
"Let's go inside." I said as the both of us went in and surprisingly, they were watching kissing booth 3 and it seems they just started.
I have actually seen the movie but I haven't seen the part three so I and Xander decided to join them.
"I love this movie."I said to Xander in a low tone, trying not to interrupt the movie.
"I have heard about this movie more times than I can count but I still don't see what's in it." Xander replied with a smirk.
"And that's because you have never watched it." Kelly replied from where she was sitting.
"Guess I have no choice but to watch it today then." Xander said.
"Well, unfortunately for you this is the third part and you might not really understand the movie so you might not enjoy it." I replied as I settled and rest my back on the couch.
"Shit, it has three parts? Must be interesting then, I guess I will just give it a try." He said as we focused on the movie.

Later in the evening, I went into my room then I started packing my things but I remembered I haven't called Jayden to know if he has landed at Seattle.
I called his phone and he didn't pick although it was ringing. I tried two more times and still no result so I decided to call him later,maybe he is busy.
I brought out the clothes I will wear when going home tomorrow and when I finished packing my things,I took a short rest before heading to the bathroom to take my bath.
I quickly took off my clothes and went into the bathroom.
I washed my hair and when I was almost done with bathing, I heard a knock on the room door.
I didn't reply at first thinking the person will go away but when the knock came the second time, I was forced to reply.
"Who is that?" I shouted as I quickly rinsed my hair and body and fortunately for me, the bathroom door was locked but I doubt I locked the room door and my doubt was confirmed when I heard Xander's voice closer.
Guess he already came in.
Don't he know the meaning of privacy?
"Emily, you in there?" He asked.
"Yeah, don't come any closer just wait outside."I shouted from the bathroom as I wrapped my already rinsed body in a towel and my hair in another.
"Alright, I will wait outside here." he said and I could picture his grinning face.
"I'm serious, don't come in." I said as I opened the door but I was not surprised to see him on his phone sitting on the bed.
"I told you to stay outside." I said with a glare.
"I did what you asked me to do, I stayed outside the bathroom." he replied with a smirk.
"Eyes up here,no you didn't because I told you to stay outside the room and here you are." I replied as I folded my hands because I was uncomfortable by his stare.
"That's what you should have said because I thought you meant outside the bathroom." he said with a smirk still sitting comfortably on the bed and he was obviously lying.
"Well, aren't you a bit too comfortable?you can leave now." I said to him and I pointed at the door.
"Alright, alright I will go out but you have to promise me that you will let me take you home tomorrow.
That's what I came here to ask you." He said as he stood up from the bed.
"I thought we have had this discussion before and I remember telling you that it wasn't necessary and I will like to go with Steph" I replied him and I wonder why he is so bent on taking me home.
"Please, I insist."he said and I still wanted to tell him no but with this situation, I will just tell him what he wants to hear so he can as well get out of my room then I can change my mind if I want to.
"Okay, I will go with you so leave now." I replied and he couldn't hide his smile.
"Thanks Emily and please don't change your mind." he said as he went outside.

I quickly locked the door and changed into my pyjamas because it was already late evening.
I didn't apply lotion on my body so I was fast then I sat down and decided to dry my hair before I heard a knock on the door.
Who is it again?
"I am still here Emily."I heard Xander's voice from outside the door.
"What are you still doing here?" I asked as I stood up and went to open the door.
"Wow, looks like I interrupted something." he said as he came inside the room.
"Yeah, I was drying my hair." I said as I sat down and lifted the hand dryer.
"Can I help you?" He asked.
"You want to help me dry my hair?" I asked as I couldn't hide my surprise.
"Ofcourse." He replied as he moved closer to me.
"Don't worry about it, I will do it when you leave and I doubt you will like it because my hair is kinda full compared to others and you will get tired" I replied as I disconnected the hair dryer.
"Don't worry it won't be stressful. I want to do it and since we are going back tomorrow, I want to spend as much time as possible with you." he said and I didn't want to read more meaning to what he just said but I know he won't back out easily, he never do so I decided to just let him.
"Alright, if you say so and I can do with the help.
Thanks a lot though but be very careful because my skin is very sensitive." I said as I handed him the dryer.
