It started that night... I met him...
Many people are hoping to find true love. Whether it's online or in the real world. Who doesn't like that? When you're treated right by someone, it's as if everything that happens to you is more light and as if you can face all of your problems more because you finally found someone who can stand next to you and help you. And that's what everybody wants right? But there are people who are not blessed when it comes to love. They feel more constantly hurt by anyone rather than they feel real love for that specific person.
Hi! I'm Mayumi Zerrudo. A STEM student who loves to explore a lot of things in life. A lot of my friends call me "Maye", "Maymay", and the "Ms. Coffee lover". Why do they call me that? Just simple... I love COFFEE!!! Many people might agreed with me. Who doesn't agree with that? Even just the scent of coffee can make my day. And I will be happy if someone would give me coffee or make me coffee. Coffee has been with me ever since. It helped me a lot to energized myself to do school works. Coffee has been my comfort drink ever since.
Right now I'm a STEM major because I really want to pursue engineering when I get to college. Why do I want to pursue it? Simple... I really like to see amazing buildings build with a strong and high-quality materials. I want to build a house with a strong and good foundation for anyone's family.
I could say everyone likes me. They see me as their older sister in class. The mother figure one. The one who takes care of them really good. The one who excels a lot in class. The one who likes to be in any competitions they announced. Everybody says that I'm perfect in many things. A good student, a good sister, a good daughter, an ideal girlfriend everyone could ask for. Everybody thinks I get all that I want in my life. But they're wrong... Because I can't have a great relationship... I can't find a guy that will truly loves me in many aspects. But then I found him...
"Hey Maye! Do we have some school works that are due tomorrow?" my friend Nevada asked.
"Well we're taking our first semestral exam tomorrow," I said while eating my lunch.
Nevada got choked on her food as she heard it. "WHAT?!!!! YOU CAN'T BE SERIOUS WITH THAT THING?!!!" She exclaimed as soon as she heard what I just said.
All of our classmates stared at her weirdly, "Can you minimize your voice Nevada? I can hear your voice while going upstairs," our other friends said.
"Oh! I'm sorry hehe... It's just I just got to know that we're having our first semestral exam tomorrow. I haven't reviewed any of our subjects. I'm so doomed guys," she said.
"You still have time to review, Nevada. Though you will be having a hard time since it's tomorrow, but you can still review some of it." Our friend Kayelyn said.
"If I were you, I will not review. Why do you have to waste your time reviewing all those lessons in every subjects when you'll eventually fail, right?" Stacy said.
"You're right!!! Hahaahahaah." The two of them laugh because of the idea that Stacy said.
They're so unserious...
When I got home, I great my family and kissed them on their cheeks.
"How's school Maymay?" My mom asked as she went out of our house and place our merienda at the table.
"It's always good mom, I'm just a bit nervous since tomorrow is our first semestral exam," I replied.
"I know you're always doing your best, my daughter. We know you're always making sure to have time to review so just pray to God for guidance and I know you'll be able to make it." My dad said. He's so nice with words. Truly a man anyone could wish for. Kind, lovable, an understanding guy everyone dreams of having. He faithfully loves our mother unconditionally just like us.
I wish I could find someone like my dad...
