Instantly, the wind users encircled the mobs, which were already loosely penned in by the team. They extended their arms, gesticulating as they skillfully manipulated the wind around the monsters, fortifying the makeshift containment.
The fire users set their arms ablaze, hurling their fiery assaults into the whirlwind, incinerating numerous monsters within.
As the various monsters' growls crescendoed into a cacophony, the decision was made not to draw out the creatures' agony.
"Now!" Garan ordered. At his signal, a dozen elemental mages unleashed a barrage at the monsters, each attack claiming a life, leaving it to chance to determine who dealt the final blow.
Before long, another squad appeared, a small rabble of wild monsters trailing in their wake.
