Due to the uneven path, craters, and steep terrain, Felix's ATV barely crawled at 20 mph. By sunset, he had only managed to cover 250 miles, which was roughly half of the Highland Province.
As he drove into a ruined village, Felix slowed the vehicle to a stop and surveyed the area. This village had once been bustling, but now it was eerily quiet.
Felix had previously avoided this place, intimidated by the massive highlanders who inhabited it because every one of them over 6'6" with the muscular build of professional bodybuilders. Even the women looked like they belonged in a strongman competition.
