Milo, now fully awake and curious. "What happened, Brother Adi?" he pressed.
Adrian stared at him. He hesitated, his throat dry.
"Do… do you know…?" he trailed off, uncertain.
Milo was too innocent.
If he told him, he was afraid he would taint him for life.
However, Milo became even more curious, scooting closer to Adrian. "Tell me, Brother Adi," he pressed, his brown eyes wide with anticipation.
Adrian sighed heavily, running a hand through his hair. He hesitated for a moment, but then finally muttered under his breath, "Julian and Ruby… actually consummated…"
He said it slowly, almost like he couldn't believe it himself.
Milo's eyes widened in pure shock. "How is that possible…?" he whispered.
Wife didn't even sleep with him!
He knew because Ruby never shared a bed with any of them. She always slept alone. And yet… she had slept with Julian?
