Outside, Angeline stood holding a bag, her face tense and uneasy.
"What's wrong?" Ruby asked, noticing the worry etched across Angeline's expression.
"Can I come inside?" Angeline asked softly.
Ruby nodded without hesitation, stepping aside to let her in. "Of course, come in."
As Angeline walked in, Ruby couldn't help but notice how tense she was. Something was definitely on her mind.
Ruby gestured for Angeline to sit on the sofa, her expression neutral. Angeline moved stiffly, her body language tense, as if the weight of whatever was troubling her was too much to bear.
"Care to explain what's wrong with you?" Ruby asked, crossing her legs and placing her hand thoughtfully on her chin, her eyes studying Angeline closely.
Angeline hesitated, looking down at her hands for a moment before speaking. "Do you remember the gorgeous ghost at the restaurant?" she asked, her voice tinged with something between frustration and sadness.
