Lia's POV
It's been two weeks since l met Jasper and he has proved to be wealth a chance. I will confess my feelings when l have the courage.
We graduated and everything has been great.
I'm getting ready to go somewhere, we are going to a club. I'm not a clubbing person but since Kate begged me to go with them so l couldn't refuse when Jasper agreed to go.
Jasper has taken a day off from his alpha duty, oh by the way he is from Darkwood pack almost near human civilization but it's well hidden because of the magic barrier.
I wore my favorite dress which Jasper bought me. It's a pink short dress with sparkly ruffles. I put a pink hair clip to match the look, after getting ready l went out of my room.
I took my blue purse, l wonder if Kate is done yet coz the boys are waiting for us. I saw them out side when l went to bath, l hope that they are still waiting.
I'm now heading to Kate's room now. "Hey Kate are y.... oooh I'm waiting outside." I quickly changed my sentence and rushed out.
(well that was quite a scene) Emily said.
(Let's pretend that we saw nothing at all) I said.
(Definitely) Emma said. So the scene we saw was something else. I saw the pair having a heated session, Kate and Dave were kissing passionately and that was not all, Kate's top was half open and hear lacey bra was on display.
Well it wasn't totally my fault on budging in because it's my apartment after all. I went outside and saw Jasper on a call. It must be pack business. He is actually 26 and I'm 21 so the gap isn't that big.
I heard the couple talking about something and giggling from Kate. I think they are still at the stairs but l can hear them clearly because of my senses.
"Hey princess." I turned when l heard Jasper say. He likes to call me princess.
"You look beautiful in that dress." He said and kissed my forehead, l felt the sparks when he kissed me. The sparks are caused by the mate bond but somehow the sparks between us are faint, maybe it's because I'm entirely a werewolf or because he's my second mate.
"Thank you" l said blushing. I turned to the other two arriving. When l looked at them l remembered what l just saw.
Kate's face turned red when she saw me looking at her. "Umm are the others here yet?" Kate asked, trying to avoid embarrassment.
"No they not yet here." Jasper said, there others being referred to are our friends.
"Oh look, they are here." I said when l saw their car.
We went to the club, to say it was crowded would be understatement because the whole place was crammed with people.
I thought my ears would explode due to the loud music, I'm definitely not coming here again that's for sure. "Sit here, will go and get the snacks." Dave shouted so we could hear. Jasper and Isaac joined him.
I'm not feeling comfortable in this place but l have stay for the sake of others because l don't want to spoil their fun by saying we should go home when we just arrived.
(I wanna go home.) Emily said whining like a child.
(So do l but we have to wait a little longer.) l said to her and she nodded and sat in her sit, who new that a head has a couch, well she has it.
"Here are the snacks." I heard Dave say placing the snacks on the table. It was a plate of chips and dip, beers and drinks.
"We brought drinks just in case if anyone doesn't want beer." Isaac said.
"I'll take the drink coz l don't drink." I said, Jasper passed me a drink. It's pineapple cocktail, l took the drink and placed to my side.
They were busy chatting while I stayed quiet listening, l seriously want to go home.
"Let's dance." Sasha said.
"Yeah let's rock the dance floor." Kate said. I haven't taken a sip of my drink yet but when the drink almost reached my lips, l smelt a different scent coming from the drink. It's smells different from pineapple, my nose senses is telling me there is something else in that drink, wait l know that smell. It's wolfsbane in my drink.
There is only one person who knows about wolfsbane and that person is Jasper, could it be him?.
(I think he suspects you to be a wolf so that's why, maybe.) Emma said.
(Then we'll show him that I'm not a wolf.) I said, well I'm not an ordinary werewolf to be affected by wolfsbane so l can drink it.
I drank half of the glass and acted normal like l don't know what's in that glass.
Jasper's POV
When we went to get that the snacks l secretly added a dose of wolfsbane in the pineapple cocktail drink, something about Lia is suspicious to me.
She knows a lot about werewolves because her sister told her about but l asked Kate about Lia, Kate said she doesn't have any family or any relatives which made my suspicion grow.
So if she reacts to this wolfsbane then it will confirm my suspicion. I came back with the others, l knew she doesn't drink. I sat next to her and passed her the drink.
We started talking but she was quiet, I was waiting for her to drink that drink but she wasn't touching it.
Does she know that I put something in or it's just that she doesn't want to drink yet. I saw her taking the drink but she stops the glass midway, my suspicion grow even more, did she smell something in the drink.
She looked at the drink again before she drank it, strangely nothing happened to her. I didn't see the reaction l was looking for, she drank the whole cup. I guess l was wrong after all but what was l thinking, l don't smell any power from her except human scent.
Lia's POV
Everyone went to the dance floor and they are having fun but I'm not coz this place is so crammed. "Hey Lia, let's dance." Jasper said and pulled me to the dance floor.
I can't breathe, it's so damn full that l can't move properly. I only stayed on the dance floor for a bit. "I'm going outside for some fresh air!" I shouted so that he can hear me, l know he did.
"Ok be careful." He said and went back dancing. I go outside and the fress breeze hits me.
It was so hot inside, the fress air is enjoyable. I'm so not gonna come here again. I texted them that I'm in car if they look for me. I was going to the car when l heard the sound of a lady crying.
I followed the sound and I peaked at the corner of the dark alley, l saw two thieves harassing a lady. I took off one of my....
